I think after the great Gruden debacle of 2017 most people feel the same way about waiting until it is official.

No, in 10 years on here I've learned there are no true insiders. 2012 "insiders" said Gruden blah blah blah and bam we've offered the job to Charlie Strong after he turns us down then we turn to Butch. Last year Gruden blah blah blah, schiano is hired and withdrew in the same day. Curie goes rogue, Fulmer steps in and welcome CJP. They will tell you every time it fell apart in the 11th hour and they talk about boosters that do donate large sums to UT but have never directly been involved with Athletics. So long story short the only true insiders are the ones inside the football complex and the AD. Everyone else is guessing, wishing and basing stuff off hearsay.

Yep, every "insider" is FOS, but it's entertaining to read.
