Don’t take it that way, sunshine! I’m not sure what you expected though.

A man of your achievements,(physiologist), and wisdom (age), surely knew when you began a thread, (not this one, this one is ours), this was a likely outcome.
Just say “Golly gee guys, I really messed up”, own it man! Then get in the same line as the rest of us that have no freakin clue about what’s going on.

I know nothing of him. I didnt see his retirement speech. but i heard him discussed on the radio. Seems like a class act all the way.

Separation / Termination

1. Separation: In the event that _____________________ resigns, or is hired by another school
A. The individual will be fully compensated through the entire contract term, regardless of when the individual leaves the position. The University will be responsible for all buy-out and separation responsibilities.

2. Termination: ______________________ may be terminated for any of the following reasons;
A. Serious breach of NCAA / SEC Level I or Level II rules or regulations
B. Incapacity to professionally manage the program, academic standards, players and staff in an ethical manner
C. Inability to meet contractual performance standards
(Year 1: Winning season, Year 2: and subsequent contract: minimum 7 wins)

If any of these obligations are not fulfilled in accordance with these documented terms, the individual will be terminated and paid the full amount of the contract stipulations and an additional 30% severance bonus.
