He wasn't. He didn't "block" the hire. People just having nothing else to go on so that's an easy one to throw out there. Also, I've never seen Coach Fulmer "pop a cap".

I'm not sure the Briles thing has much chance, though I am willing to be wrong. I would rather have him than Freeze. I've started to sour on Freeze a bit over the last few days. I think we've already got our guy pegged and there is a necessary quiteness going on. It's damn frustrating, but I at least understand.
