I’m not sure you are cut out for the internet. 1st of all, none of us knew about your wife so making it seem like we’re kicking you while youre down is over the top. Sorry to hear about your wife. You seem to be struggling with why people are kinda piling on you, so maybe I can help. It’s great that you have “sources” or know people connected. Feel free to bring anything you hear, that is what this is for. That being said, learn a better way to bring info. Posting the way you did was like saying this is the gospel and I know for sure. I’ve been around professional and college football for a long time. Nothing is final until its final. Also, even former players get misled. Next time, just bring a “here is what I’m hearing, take it for what its worth”. Who cares who believes you. You went into a defense mode that is typical of those here to bait people. Last, don’t reveal your sources..its none of their business.

And for the complimenting a female in front of an internet audience? If you can’t see that was gonna get the peanut gallery riled up, then I cant help you.

He's often pretty good with recruiting info. He didn't specifically say Gruden was coming but he was hinting at there being some smoke there.

My sincerest condolences to the loss of your wife, I truly couldn't imagine what I would do without mine. However, this is a football forum, we all come here for football, while it may be enticing to try to strike up a relationship with someone you know has a similar interest, asking if they are single, and saying their husband doesnt know what they have, is far more than being "nice" it's down right creepy, especially when you consider this isnt eharmony, its VolNation. We are here for football, so please respectfully keep it to that. And also, if you do get creepy, the rest of us reserve the right to mercilessly mock you for it.

AV is very accurate especially when it comes to recruiting.

Also, he did not say who the OC hire was but that we have selected our guy. He also said that we should know something in the coming days.

I just remember him putting up some pics sort of like the Stay puff marshmallow man that didnt confirm or deny Gruden. He did try and calm everyone down but never said it was Gruden that I remember. I could be wrong if someone remembers differently. I would not read anything into the marshmellow thing. My personal take is that he was trying to say the choice was made. I'm cautiously optimistic!

Its cool, when I first started this if a post was messed up someone would type “FYP”. Apparently that stands for “fixed your post”. For years I thought it meant “f*** you punk” and I was always like “man, that was uncalled for”. No, many people have confused this. AV affirmed that he found out who Beaver was and was in a position to possibly know something. But he never confirmed Gruden himself.
