Just my humble opinion but if Lindsey is the guy then WTF? Are we supposed to be excited about an OC that our defense stoned this year? Good grief, I mean our defense has more holes than the titanic yet we shutdown Auburn!

Yes. The hire that won’t offend Fulmer (Kiffin), the pearl clutchers on the BOT (Freeze), upstage Saban (Enos), or upset the Bammer HQ (aka SEC).

Will Friend offends no one, isn’t a risky hire, and will work comparatively cheaply. The CLASSIC Tennessee move.

It may not be a fit personality wise. Freeze is a outwardly religious guy, no? CJP does not strike me as that type of person....Freeze and Richt have similar personas....Pruitt did not mesh well with Richt either. You have to look at the overall picture and the way that the personalities will mesh.

Lol. I heard that. Like you said, he thinks we hire an OC in the next 2 weeks, and most assuredly before Early signing which is December 19.

Meanwhile, guys who have a clue like Low and Brice and Hubbs are saying an announcement is imminent, perhaps today, definitely within the next 48 hrs.

I get what you’re saying. Or Pruitt just has to realize that he is a defensive coach and hire someone with full control of the offense. Get over personal differences, be professional and work together.

This is why I personally think Lindsay is a MUCH better fit at Tennessee
