finished Handmaid's tale. First off, not what I expected. Originally thought it was a period piece (early 1800s) but that's a big nope. Its interesting for sure but very left winged oriented. Pro women, Christians are evil, right wing philosophies lead to communistic state characteristics. Its not a bad watch though

The book was meh. Never bothered with the show.

It was pretty good and filmed very well. Characters have real depth and the story was well told

I’m 5 episodes in. It’s really good so far. There are definitely some tough scenes to watch. I think I’d rather be captured by Al Qaeda than some of the cartels. Just brutal.

The Last Narc, yeah I watched it. I don't know if all of it is true but the stuff about the torture was pretty crazy. Waking him up after he'd pass out so they could keep going.
