I've watched him play twice. I'm not convinced he's got the arm to be an SEC QB. Could he develop? Yes. Is he a great player? Absolutely!

The problem is that closing distance at a D1 level for a DB is easily 3 or 4 yards farther than even really good HS DBs. We will see but I'm not convinced based on my observations.

Mine is not a definitive statement. I'm just basing on what I've seen and my experience as a D1 player years ago. I'm pulling for him, I hope he does have a great arm and I totally trust the coaches.

Well my reliable source plays on the same team as JJ. They talk about UT all the time because my source is a crazy Vol fan just like his dad.
