Love the guy, he's had a tremendous season, excellent speed, but I too wonder how he'll fare as a pro. He'll be
a deep threat, for sure, but he won't get open as he has in college, and I'm not sure how effective he'll be on short/medium throws. He's got a slight build and I hope he can hold up physically. He's surely going pro and wish him the best.

Tillman was a high ankle sprain those are very common in football. I think if we was in playoffs he would be playing. He was picking and choosing the games he wanted to play after the Georgia loss it seems.
Would he have been drafted higher after last season?

Just saw the Sporting News mock 70 picks for the upcoming draft...Does not include Hyatt...However, Wright, Tillman and Hooker are included...Difficult to say where he'll get drafted, but I think he needs to go.

If I'm Hyatt I go pro! Look at Tillman this year, go pro and make that real money! Gbo!

If I was Hyatt I would go pro. Look what happened to Tillman. His draft stock was definitely higher after last year.

It's possible he doesn't get the grade he wants, and hence the guaranteed money. The pros might tell him he needs to bulk up before they'll take a chance on someone so fragile a build. BUT if they are willing to pay him what he wants and bulk him up on their training table, then he should definitely take the money and go.

Didn't he want to play a year with his Brother? Has his Brother signed anywhere?

Voted yes but hope it is next year. I think it will depend on his evaluations and projections. Is he getting full credit for his numbers or is a lot of it attributed to Coach and #5? Speed is what it is, but how it translates to the next level is another variable. Prepared either way.

The Vol in me would love for him to stay! The best option for him, in Dolph Voice, "GET PAID YOUNG MAN GET PAID!!"

Got to cash in on this season. Look across at Tillman, lost a ton of money. I wish he would come back but that’s life changing money go get it. He actually scored again on Bama in the time it took me to type this, lol

Idk what Hyatt can really gain by coming back as far as moving up in the draft. Really think he needs to go. Really hope he comes back though.

My original opinion on this has changed. I used to be in the mindset that they should stay and play. The owe it to us and the university. However, after thinking about this in the mindset of " if that was my son ".... He should absolutely leave. If you are going to be a first or second round draft pick in the NFL you have already done enough for us. The 5 touchdown performance against the gumps is enough for me. He could have declared for the draft the next day and I would have been good with it. Tip my hat to JH! I hope you have a 20 year career in the NFL and win a couple of rings in the process.

UTK,I wrote in another place that Jalin is rated as the 85th best player. That's third round. If that be true,he should return.Chance of injury, but Cedric was injured most of this year, and it hasn't diminished his place all that much.

This isn’t even a conversation. OP, stop.
Sure it is. I don't see him going 1st round. He had 2 years of middling success then this year where he tore it up, mostly on vertical threats. He's a talent, but does the NFL currently rate him high enough to make leaving > staying with NIL?

I imagine he goes, but if our staff and his camp aren't having conversations on stay vs go, they're not doing their jobs.
