Would you rather beat Florida this year and lose to Vandy?

Or

Beat Vandy and lose to Florida?

NB4 why not both?

But seriously, I was asked this today at work, and it was a tricky question.

I choose beat Vandy...

Beating Florida is always awesome but a loss to vandy is always unacceptable.

Both would be ideal. In an either/or scenario beating vandy and losing to uf is the only one that wouldn't be infuriating. If we beat uf and lose to vandy it would be bittersweet and another wtf season.

If the question is hypothetical, all possibilities fall into play. I'd rather we win every game. Crush them all.

I don't even remember what it's like to beat Florida.

It's kind of like warm Apple pie.

Back this one up a bit. Replace Forida with Alabama.

What I hate is were actually asking would you want a win over vandy. You know it suxs when they are is a question like that. That being siad Florida because if that happens they should beat vandy.

Florida, Just to shut their obnoxious fans up. Plus Muschamp turned us down, i want that fool to regret that decision. Beat them 49-0

As beautiful as it would be to crap on Florida, I'd say Vanderbilt. The first step is putting the jackass in charge there back in his place. In addition, Vanderbilt fans are arseholes who are claiming to be the best program in the state after their whopping two bowl games.

Come on people. Don't let your hatred of Franklin cloud your rational thought. Much better for the program to beat Florida at their place.

Sorry, can't do it Fade. We've lost to Florida in the past as a Top 5-10 team. We only lose to candy when we suck.

It would be nice to beat Florida once, but for any UT coach, losing to Vanderbilt should be grounds for immediate termination.

Suppose to beat Candy......... every year.

A win against Fla. jump starts this program and gives us some much needed positive attention.

There truly isn't a wrong answer to this question. Let me preface my remarks, however, by saying that I have a Cafegoesque contempt for Vandy, thanks to my uncle having formerly been their head baseball coach and the ensuing 40 years of intrafamilial warfare. Having said that, I fully agree that losing to Vanderbilt is the ultimate disgrace for any Tennessee head coach's resume. James Franklin, however, is not going to stay at Vandy long enough to build them into a national power and we haven't lost back-to-back games to them since 1920-1926, when the Commodes won six straight (see Tennessee vs Vanderbilt 1869-2011). Under the scenario stipulated here, I would rather see us beat Florida and avoid the humiliation of losing a ninth straight game to the Lizards.

I think I would gladly forfeit the jubilation of beating UF or Bama to avoid the humiliation of losing to Vanderbilt.

Plus, the Vandy game comes later. A loss there would kill any and all resonating positive vibes from one of those wins.

That's my opinion. I can certainly see the other side as well.

I would agree with you, if we didn't lose to them last year, but you can't call two loses in a row a fluke.
