I've never understood being satisfied with a loss. Especially when UT should have won.
Not of our program, but of a fan base that cries and says they are disgusted when we lose a game by 1 point to the #6 team.
We looked about as good as our ranking suggested.
We will now roll through a bunch of nobodies and stay about the same place in the polls by the time we play Pastner and a Memphis team that looks excellent. Will this team want redemption against a Kansas team that shellacked them? Will they buy in to play the defense they need to beat UK?
It looks pretty good to me at this point.
Also my complaint's about the refs have not gone away. They treated this like a church league game. Skylar McBee was called for every hand check foul in the world but when he is being kicked on the ground there is no technical. Garbage.
The game ended with Wayne Chism being fouled and then not being able to get a foul call. Awful...
I am also glad I am not in the Virgin Islands. Watching their cheering fans I wanted to comment on the dog faced escort of one of those losers and get them to hit me so I could stomp them under the bleachers.
No offense Mike but have you lost your mind , we were terrible against Kansas and they were 2 points from being worse than terrible . If you guys dont roll over us i'll be amazed . I hope the TIGERS win but I just dont see it happening !
I predicted before the season we would lose to memphis on the road, beat kansas and uk at home and lose to uk on the road. I thought we would beat purdue. We still are in play for a one seed, but a two seed looks much more likely at this point. An elite 8 still looks very possible and would make me very happy. If it would not make you happy I will guess you are a bandwagon fan who used to cheer for duke or unc and never attended a houston or o'neill era game.

Again, making end of season predictions after 5 games is fruitless and speaks of stupidity.
