Where are all the critics that were posting that Bruce Pearl needed to be fired and that we will have an early exit this year in the Tournament again. Those who were complaining about BP and his style of coaching.

I think its time for some of you to step forward and take a nice bite of CROW.

If we don't make it any futher than the Elite Eight I have to say that we did a Great job and that Bruce has done a Great Job for what he had to work with.

I look forward to the day that I can post the exact same thing to all the Dooley critics. I wonder if all of these people are even Vols fans or just complainers.

Celebrate the victories. There is no argument here. Pearl and this team have proven the doubters wrong. So what? everybody is celebrating now, including anyone who doubted. That's a good thing. Be happy.

2 months ago is when I signed in to start posting. I have been lurking for about 2 years. I don't have to have a big post count to be a Vol Fan :lolabove: and I don't have to whine all the time either... but I will be glad to remind all of the complaining predictors that they were wrong.

You see I don't feel the need to hide behind a computer all the time calling our coaches idiots and trying to tell them how to run there job. When they do win I will be here to remind those who are complaining.

Isn't posting that I supported our players and coaches while others complained and cried a way of celebrating the Victory?

I have read all of your post prior to today. I did not see a single 1 showing support for the coaches and players.

if your talking about the Basketball team then your right because I only read this forum BUT if your talking about Football or players in general then your wrong. I would venture to guess that most of my posts are in support of the Coaches and the Players (if not all of them).

There has been a history of bashing Pearl on this site. Yes my post # may not be in the thousands like some of you, but in my short time on this site I have learned the names (hatvol, voldad, and others) who thought pearl would never get us past the sweet sixteen. Maybe its time to admit you were wrong. Maybe not though, because were all Vols fans an our VOls are making us all proud.

I still dont understand the people coming out of the woodwork making these "where are the naysayers now" threads? I have never been critical on this board of our players or coach, but I certainly dont blame many who did after some of our performances this year. When you make these threads, you are only coming off as very childish and not capable of enjoying what our team and coach have accomplished.

No I think bashing our current coach and team all the time is childish.

I am enjoying the victory and I have a few threads running in some Golfing Forums letting everyone know that we beat OSU last night. :dance2: They know me alot better there. :eek:k:

I came here because all of the sudden everyone is on the Bandwagon when all they did was run their mouth/keyboard all year about being negative. Not everyone and I don't know about you, but I do grow tired of people calling themselves fans but being completely negative.

How about doing some further reading and seeing that every person who has been critical of Pearl has already said they are most happy to be wrong about where he could take us sometime within the last 15 hours. Congrats, you were right. Maybe you can sleep better at night now knowing you were.

And with that I will happily take my wrongness and happily hit the road to St. Louis. Going to be really odd to drive there not to go to a baseball game.

While I haven't gone back to read all of the posts of the supposed Pearl haters. I am confident that almost all of them, at some point, have said they would love for him to address their concerns and prove them wrong about his ability as a coach. Certainly, he has done that this year. It would be best to just enjoy the win and know that more and more Vol fans are getting behind our head coach.

I didn't expect to come on here and get a great welcome. Eating Crow in public makes some bitter.

I know there are some posters/lurkers on here that feel the exact same way I do. It gets old and maybe some should learn to keep their mouth shut and be more positive. Now have a fun ride driving to St. Louis. :good!:

So because people were critical of pearl due to his lack of tourney success, which is all that matters, they are now "on the bandwagon"? I am glad that you have come along now and separated the bandwagon fans from you and the rest of the "true" fans. Let me guess, your next comment will be that "you bleed orange and anyone who was critical of CBP doesnt". Please

I am ok with those being Critical when we have an off season but I can't look back and see where we have had a bad season since Pearl has been here. I do have a problem with some going out of their way to prove to everyone that our players and coach will never amount to anything and constantly posting it.... over and over again. Now they want everyone to just forget about that.

What I am trying to say is..... Whats wrong with supporting our Players and Coaches? Obviously some have a problem with it. Dooley is already taking heat and he hasn't even coached a game yet. As soon as things go south for a month.... those guys will be back and saying I TOLD YOU SO.

Your not going to hear me on defending them all of the time but when they do win I will be here to remind those Negative guys what just happened. Maybe it will cause some to think before they post... maybe not.

Really one interloper every 400 post says something outlandish that no one would say out in public, then people come on the boards and act like there is some secret movement going on to "rid" Pearl. Witch Doctor again ask really? Just where did you hear talk like this? real fans? boosters? who?

So, since Pearl has scrapped the system those of us with the audacity to question The Tan King said would never win big in March and we're suddenly in the Elite Eight, we're supposed to join in with the clowns who defended shooting 33 teams against a group of Oompa Loompas in the 'AAs last year and act as if Renaldo Woolridge and Skylar McBee are Karl Malone and John Stockton? No thanks.
