I am sorry, I want us to get a new offensive coordinator

The offense has been overrated all season. Heupal has talent but for some reason it hasn’t come together.

I think defenses have figured it out to some degree. You won't see it tonight because we are playing, arguably, the worse team in the entire SEC.

Some of it was Nico growing up (which he is) and some of it is play calling. Interestingly, we are not looking that bad with Gaston Moore right now.

We’re 8-1 because we have a good staff who wins games. We have one of the highest producing offenses in the Nation with a freshman 160 pound QB. A ton of schools would KILL to trade offenses with us and be in our position.

Maybe listen to yourself two years ago and think about the whole perspective.

You’re on here suggesting Co-Head Coaches. Come on lil buddy. Lol.

In 2022, Alabama went 11-2 and was statically near the top but Saban axed the DC and changed up a lot of the staff. You can point to record/statistics but you need to look with your eyeballs.

You can ax coaches when you win multiple national championships. You can ax coaches when 2 losses is a failure of a season.

We are not there and no team may get there again in our lifetime.

You sound ridiculous with this post bud.

I couldn’t imagine making a post EVERYONE coming on and telling me I’m wrong then gaslighting myself into believing I am right no matter what point someone else makes.

Using me graduating from Tennessee as a beckoning call for my justification after calling for a Co-HC.

I’d just delete my whole account. It’s okay to have bad takes, it’s okay to be wrong, lol.

Literally the first page of this thread agreed with me you idiot. I am NOT the only Tennessee fan. My dad said the same thing last week about Kentucky game. Tons of fans have been pointing out the suspect play calling all year. If you can't see it, I don't know what to say.

This is why I posted the "I am sorry" because I knew ******* posters like you would say the "fake fan crap."

I am an alumni and graduated early 2000s. I have been posting on here since Dooley years so go screw yourself.
Boy someone sure is sensitive. I never called you a fake fan.

Your emotional instability on a forum for fun where we discuss men barely adults playing a sport is wild. lol.

I’m embarrassed for you brother. Prayers things get better. ❤️‍🩹

Nick Saban always went out and hired new play callers to change things up and stay fresh.

We have been predictable all season. Hurt us against Arkansas and almost bit us with Florida.

Something needs to change in the play calling. Perhaps we don't fire anyone but let's bring someone in that can mix things up a little.
You can’t bring someone else in unless you let someone go, first.

People can figure it out all they want to, still have to stop it. It is not a complicated offense to figure out. We are not fully open due to a freshman QB. It will get more open as he grows. It is more open now than it was in August.

Dudes have ru. Wide open all year.

This game, Nico threw for 174 in a HALF.

Maybe, just maybe, the play calling is fine and We had an exceptional college QB and receivers that will forever skew our view on what's plausible.

Hyatt isn't walking through that door again. We've had drops all season. That isn't to say we won't get better but is to say that it may be unfair to be over critical with the play calling considering the personnel that we have

So your saying our offense the past 2 years is better than the first 2....Ok.
So you're saying you have no ability to grasp context? You're saying all the players are the same and we've had a qb like Hooker? You just base everything off stats you read and all those calls to sports talk all year falsely stating Golesh was the brains of the 2022 success? If Golesh took our offense to USF with him then he must have lost it on the beach.

Yeah, maybe my OP is overreacting about our OC but we seem very cautious in play calling with Nico and it has hurt at times. I have actually liked the more aggressive play calling with Moore today.

I do remember Tennessee being dreadful at times in the Fulmer era and, in hindsight, the 2008 firing of Fulmer looked a little premature. He was breaking in a new QB and OC. After the 2008 firing, our program went into the toilet.

Fulmer should have retired in 2001
