Ok maybe a team that lacks talent throughout its rotation, is that more fair? Crappy was a little strong my apologies.

We just lack a lot on this team, IMO the 2-3 mainly we just get nothing from on a consistent basis and it kills us. If you look t martins miss st teams their 1-3 could handle the ball and shoot consistently.

It's killing is when our outside shots aren't falling. As I've stated a million times when they fall we are much better, everything gets easier. The lack of consisten outside shooting IMO is the biggest fault on this team, and lack of ball handlers.

Having maymon a your second best option a a ball handler should tell you just how good the rest of our guards are at ball handling.

Crappy teams, and as i corrected Was a bit strong, can make the dance genius. Do I need to name them for you?

This team is utterly lacking talent at several key positions, therefore they aren't that good of a team. Could they make the tourney yea, but that doesn't change the fact that they are lacking talent.

I'm being honest about it. I've not said I think we are going to make it one time, show me where I did, I have just stated that we do have a chance if w kept playing like we had been. Pretty simple.

Because I give Martin the credit for good wins and the blame for horrible losses?

As for the rediculous NCAA tourney talk, we'll have to hear about it until they lose in the SEC tourney. That's when that ludicrous line of hope can be put out its misery. We already have posters setting it up by referencing UGA's run a few years ago.

We do have bad ballhandlers. Maymon is asked to bring it up because he can handle it ok and the other team generally will not bring their PF up to guard him. It makes for an easy way to beat pressure. We didn't see it as much yesterday because of the trapping pressure, rather than man.
I just don't know why we didn't attack it or attack the rim if we beat it. We held the ball and let them set up their D.
That wasn't a good plan, imo.

As I stated in that thread, based on the performance and coaching to that point in the season and specifically in that game, Martin should have been fired if it continued the rest of the year. After big wins I give Martin credit. I've also given Martin credit for changing his coaching style. All the while I have remained critical of his scheming, substitutions, and stubbornness in taking timeouts.

Please consider the element of context when reading any thread in any of the sports forums.

That makes absolutely no sense at all. You were calling for his head after that game, so therefore means he couldn't have coached anymore the rest of the season.

If he knew this why didn't he, or did ccm tell him afterwards, kind of odd I thought.

Against Arkansas beating it and then setting up worked, but they aren't nearly the half court d team bama is. Should have attacked as you said.

Also, in that post you never say if the Trend continues, you say If he keeps putting that product on the floor he should be fired. That in no way says if the trend continues, as you said you said.

Keep on carrying Coach Martin's jock. We underperform, have no semblance of an offense, our defense is pathetic, and we just got embarrassed by our cross-state rivals.

Memphis players were literally laughing in the faces of UT players. A fight about breaks out and Pastner is out in the middle of it with his guys. Our coach is standing on the sidelines looking confused.

Pastner is a terrible coach, but at least he's active during the game. He calls over players, shouts instructions, he actually tries to coach. Our coach strolls around the bench looking for a towel to wipe his hands with the whole game.

I'm just calling it like it was last night leaving the Forum. This team stinks. You and everyone else can say "first year", "no talent", and such, but the bottom line is this team stinks and Martin doesn't appear to be too worried about it. In fact, at critical points of games he apparently tries to sabotage the team with ridiculous substitutions.

So keep on bashing people for telling the truth. If Martin keeps putting a product on the floor like he did last night, he should be fired. We're halfway into the season and the schedule only gets tougher. Good luck Coach, you need it.

Ok whatever you say. You claim goodbye cuonzo, most people take that a an insinuation that your calling for his immediate termination. In fact, when people in that thread are making remarks about it, why didn't you correct it and explain what you were saying?

You could have easily in your op said that, cuonzo is gonna be gone if this trend continues this year and would have received a lot less flack for, but you didn't because that's not what you mean.

It still would have been a dumb statement, he wasn't gonna e fired after one year no matter what. Grow up.
