Glad I'm able to share it with all you great folks, especially you Duncan!

Wish you were here Brother.

My youngest brother has a drug problem and lived with us for over half a year but I had to kick him out because he stole money from my three year old’s bank and we haven’t talked since December..

He called me tonight for the first time after the win. I don’t know what this is, but it’s just different.

First time I've ever cried after a game. Since our last victory over Bama, I've lost so many loved ones with whom I used to share the joy of this game (I imagine most here have suffered the same).

Same here. Definitely wasn't expecting to have that reaction, but I couldn't help it. I thought for sure when I saw that football floundering that there was no way it would make it to the goalposts. When it did, I immediately imagined all of our dearly departed fellow Vols were somehow reaching down and carrying it through the uprights and saying to all of us, "Don't worry...not this time."

This is brother. This was more than just a game. We needed this. It feels like finding redemption

Me, my grandpa, and both brother in laws were crying. We don’t smoke but best believe we’re smoke cigars tonight.

Edit: and yes the loved ones lost who would’ve loved to see this is a big part of it.
