I Can't Stop Crying

I wept during the entirety of Dixieland Delight

You know something? This s Tennessee. And we are suppose to be known for our "musical culture" And we are celebrating with a song by a (admittedly) excellent group named and from Alabama.

Dang it, it is time for someone FROM Tennessee to get to writing a decent freakin song in, by, and from Tennessee. Something that rocks so damn hard, it makes "Enter Sandman" sound like crap. And it s even liked by all those hayweed knuckleheads walking around these parts.

First time I've ever cried after a game. Since our last victory over Bama, I've lost so many loved ones with whom I used to share the joy of this game (I imagine most here have suffered the same).

Lost my brother to COVID back in MAY…..

He went to VA TECH & loved that team. He was really bummed-out when Hendon Hooker transferred to Tennessee. But, (since I’m a Tennessee grad) he said that he was happy for my team! (Damn, I miss him - And I wish he was here to have seen tonight’s game)!!!!!!

God rest his soul, EverythingOrange!

I have wept 5 times in my adult life. 1. The win over Miami on my Honeymoon. 2. The come from behind at Notre Dame. 3. The loss of a friend in Desert Storm. 4. The SEC Championship in 98, when we knew it might actually happen. 5. Tonight.
