I don't know what it is, but I don't have a good feeling about the game saturday. i don't know if it's because we're coming off a near-loss to air force or what, but we're missing our best defensive lineman and a dang good corner. the running game, although decent, hasn't fully stepped up yet. we can't expect ainge to go 24-29 for 300+ yards and 3 tds every game.

i think tennessee still has a good chance to pull one out just because we're playing at home though.

thoughts?

my thoughts are that u should have faith n the boys n quit bein a pansy, lets whoop'em

 i'm not a pansy, just not that confident. lemme just say i hope i'm wrong. it's more of the boys having faith in themselves instead of me having faith in them.

You are being a pansy. I definately dont want u cheering for us if you arent confident. We only want people to think we are going to win to cheer for us.

What a stupid post. We want people who will cheer loudly and passionately. Its not like all 108,000 at Neyland are extremely confident in a win, but they will scream al the same.

yeah really, who said you had to be "extremely confident" (AKA overconfident/arrogant) to cheer?

Losing Harrell and Johnson hurt the team a lot.
The 4th Quarter is going to be interesting, some of UT's players are going to have to dig deep and play most of the game.

Do not be a doubter. Battles were never won without adversity and effort.

If the Vols can get a ground game going and thereby allow the offense to eat up some clock it should give the D time to rest. This group seems to be much better conditioned from what we saw last year. I'm not seeing 2-3 linemen down on a knee after every play. I think the D wil be okay and it is once again going to come down to how the Vol offense performs against the Gator defense.
