I know there's a ticket forum, but no one really goes there. any chance anybody has an extra ticket for this?

given the underdog role and the disaster that was tuesday night, I think we have a good shot at this one.

I got the Vols and 8 points. Same person who bet with me in the fall on the football game who now has a UT license plate frame on her car as a result. If UK covers, i get the frame back. If UT covers I get $5. If UT wins outright, I get $10. AND the frame stays on. I simply can't lose.

I still don't feel good about tomorrow, mainly because it's Kentucky. UK is pretty much Pearl's anti-Florida. You can only play "backs against the wall" so many times a season. And it will certainly suck big time to get swept by your 2 biggest rivals in the same season.

Just like the last time we played the Cats coming off an embarassing road defeat, my only glimmer of hope is that Pearl's teams have yet to lay eggs back-to-back and that it shouldn't be 5 on 8 this time, although 5 on 6 would not surprise me.

Sadly, I've heard of a bunch of people selling their tickets to UK fans so I don't know if the home court will be like the last few years. A guy at work yesterday told me his brother sold his nosebleeds for $425 for a pair.

UK is going to have a very tight turn around to prepare for this game at TBA. I know these players have all the vigor of youthfulness, but one would suspect that their stamina would have to be somewhat less than 100% by the Saturday noon tip.

What's the word on Chism? I know he didnt start the game when the Vols were in Lexington, and noticed he was very hobbled looking after the florida game.

Tight turn around. Really? Wow, that's never happened to this UT team. I'm looking for a good game and don't have a clue who will win this game. I think we have a couple of players who won't be 100% for the game, but that's just the breaks. Really wish it was otherwise. I would like to see two healthy teams go at it with really good officiating. Unfortunately, I don't expect either. TBA is going to be packed. Every seat has been sold per UT. Even the bad ones (obstructed view) for the first time in history. The probable starting line up for UT (per UT) is Goins, Maze, Hopson, Prince and Chism. I think it will be a close game and hope it doesn't come down to free throws unless Chism, Maze or McBee is the one putting them up. But, you never know. For those of us out of state, remember, it's an early game on Saturday. 10 am for me.

Nice win for UT. Maze played his best game as far as I have ever witnessed...kudos to Kentucky native Hopson on that last trey...game changer IMO.

Pearl is now sitting at 4 - 4 all-time, head to head with Calipari.

Hope to see you guys again soon.

Pearl is 3-3 vs Calipari, unless they met while he was at UW-Milwaukee. UT-UM 2-2, and UT-UK 1-1.

Not sure exactly the source feeding the stat...my comment was based on what was flashed on the TV screen before Saturday's game. Regardless, its even.

There is no way I see UK running UT out of the gym in TBA, not going to happen. On the other hand, I can see UT pushing out to a 10-12 point lead, but UK erasing it by the end of the game.

I think a loss in Knoxville is very possible, but I'm not so sure about my prediction anymore. If UK keeps its rebounding margin where it should be and doesn't turn the ball over, I think they come out with the win.

It will be a good game, IMO.

Good call there Nostradamus. :hi:

Yeah, I think I did see ESPN flash that up. If Bruce had ever beaten Memphis with UWM, I think we'd know. So, 3-3 should be right. That includes both coaches being 2-1 at home, if you're counting.
