I had no idea Clemson was this terrible...

Again, I am taking anything away from Tennessee. We dominated the game and had a great season, but Clemson did not look anywhere close to the number 7 team in the nation. They had one of the worst offensive performances I have seen in a long time, especially in a high level bowl game.

Asking an obvious question, but could the much criticized Tennessee defense have anything to do with Clemson's offensive performance tonight? Clemson certainly didn't look bad in the ACC title game, blowing out a solid North Carolina team 39-10.

Clemson just had about 500 yards, 34 1st downs and ran over 100 plays. Yes… we were able to get after the QB on key plays, but give me a break with calling it “one of the worst offensive performances”. This thread is basically like a crowd chanting overrated after a big win. Makes no sense.

Keep trying... worst offenses or better D tonight? My god, enjoy the incredible game and season. Find happiness if possible my friend....

I am not taking anything away from Tennessee, but my goodness, Clemson is awful. If they played as bad as they did tonight, I am not sure they would beat any team. Nonetheless, I am happy Tennessee won! It's been a great year.
Hard to play well when you get dominated. Clemson is by no means bad, maybe tennessee is better than we think

Clemson is a good program, but they have taken a step back since the days of Amari Rogers, Tee Higgins and Trevor Lawrence. Tennessee was better and proved it. We’re on the rise and it will help recruiting against them and a lot of SEC schools.

Their OL was trash, altho they protected him better in the 2nd half.

They simply weren't up to the task of opening up a can of Woodaz.

We beat a really good team tonight. Ranked #7 and led by a 5 star heisman contender. Huge win should push us to a top 5 finish. That's the story I'm gonna push.

100 plays blows my mind when you consider they don't run up tempo. This defense will sleep soundly tonight and may not be recovered by the start of spring practice. That Clemson only got 14 pts out of all that production is hard to comprehend.

Please you are making a fool out of yourself. Just stop
Okay. You win. Clemson played incredible. Their offense was a machine of precise perfection. Their quarterback was throwing laser guided missiles. They would have beaten Georgia by fifty at least. Unlucky for them, they ran onto Tennessee, who in a moment of incredible courage, shut them down. This will be a night written in stone, forever called upon in moments of darkness. Let us never forget the sacrifices made tonight against the mighty Clemson.

True. Our defense was giving up a lot of yards in the first half, then played like a Madden videogame defense in the red zone.
