I was actually surprised at the Kent State buy game as the final score was 39-22. They must have played a lot of scrubs throughout that game on both sides of the ball.UGAs schedule is backend loaded for the tough games but is much, much easier than ours overall. They already played SCAR, Vandy, Mizzou (respectable team), and Auburn.
They also opened the season against Oregon in ATL and crushed them. Oregon is playing much better now but would still at best be a 4th or 5th place team in the SEC East or West.
They also played Samford and Kent State which I suppose is comparable to Ball St and Akron.
After Tennessee, UGA has road trips against a faltering MissSt and an exposed KY team as well as perennial speed bump GA Tech.
I ran some very scientific tests, simulations, took into account expert opinions, and computer analyses through the official Ron Mexico Gonkulator and I keep getting the same answer…

Ordinarily, I'd agree with you, but the Vols have proven me wrong week after week. I think I'm still in shock after so many bad years, and now here we are in year two of Josh Heupel. I sorta feel like I'm in the twilight zone, this season has been so surreal. Not a good matchup for the Vols defensively. GA will score a bunch. Pressure will be on the offense to score every possession against a great defense in a hostile environment. I'm not saying it's a sure loss, just likely. No matter, the Vols have far surpassed anything I could have dreamed this season.
Ummm don't know what rock you are under we already beat a team full of five starsGeorgia will have better athletes in the secondary and on the Defensive Line
Georgia has faster, not stronger RB, and a much much better O Line
Georgia has elite TEs
Georgias weakest points are their QB and lack of take your top off WRs
They key to the game will be our O Line and Hookers decision making.
We need to make our FGs
Our OL doesn’t have the star power or pro prospects theirs do. But we’ve averaged almost 200 yards rushing in 4 SEC games. And Hooker rarely takes a sack. I’d call that a push.Georgia will have better athletes in the secondary and on the Defensive Line

Bama also had great athletes in the secondary. You know how you neutralize that? Confuse them. Our receivers are talented enough to win 1 on 1 matchups. McCoy almost always gets single coverage and he is a fabulous possession receiver.
I think it’s going to come down to which QB plays better. These are probably the 2 oldest QBs in college football. Bennett just threw 2 INT, which is more than Hooker has thrown in the past year.
Starting to get “team of destiny” vibes. We win next week and it’ll be hard to say it’s not.
The main intangible about this game is that it is in Athens. If it was in Knoxville than I would have no doubt with the way Neyland has been a live.
Then again if it was in Knoxville, that just wouldn't be fair to the rest of the SEC having Alabama, Florida, and Georgia all at home.
