I hope CBJ mans up in his post game presser

He better take all the blame for this one. I don't care how bad Peterman played.

Because it is all on CBJ.

He made the big decisions. If we put Florida in the 17 point hole we should have in the first quarter, it is over. We couldn't have expected to win the game, but the game was ours to win in the first canto.

Murphy and the Gators just kept building confidence throughout the game after we let the off the hook repeatedly.

CBJ made some big decisions today, and he got them completely wrong. He better man up later or I'm quickly losing confidence. This looks like Dooley 2 Electric Boogaloo right now.

He should man up like you, huh? How bout you reveal who you are and man up then. He should man up, like the guy who hides behind a screen name. You are Webster's definition of stupid.

Good luck with that. Anyone with a thread of sense knows Butch has the deck stacked against him the next few years.

You totally nailed it, and with your name and the Breakin' 2 reference, I'm officially a fan.

Anyone with a thread of sense also knew not to play Peterman after his performance in the first two series. Looked like a Jr. high kid. Dude was deer in the headlights, and had also injured his throwing hand on the previous series according to CBS. How'd our staff not stop him form going in?????????

Should not have been in there on the big series where he threw the highlight reel 'it slipped outta his hands' pick.

Butch's haircut and army chatter will wear off soon. Then you'll see the light.

"This loss is on me. I made a big decision. I didn't trust the process and what I had seen throughout the Spring and camp. We had a good football team on the ropes in their house, and we didn't execute the maxims because of decisions I made. Our kids played their guts out, and I let them down."

"Nate is a great talent and an important part of this team. I put him in one of the toughest situations you could put a QB in and it was the wrong decision."

"I'm going to continue to get better. Team 117 is going to continue to get better. We are hurting, but we are going to put the hurt on some teams in the coming weeks....."

For a second I thought Butch had said this tonight, which he DID NOT DO ON HIS SHOW.

This is exactly what he should've said. It's the truth.

BS post.
Butch takes responsibility for this team. His coaching was not the problem today. OL failing to run block...QB bonehead decisions...Neal fumble...

I've asked this question several times and none of you complainers have given me a name yet. Who, on this team, would start for our great teams of the late 90's
or early 2000's?

No reason to answer it because there is absolutely no point in it.

Everyone knows the talent level doesn't match up with most SEC teams today and is nowhere near what this program put on the field in years past.

You're not offering some startling revelation here so get over yourself.

Our DC was out schemed today

Badly.

Muschamp and co were able to break-in their new QB slowly and gave him good material to work with. They asked him to make three or four plays for the team, and he did.

If Peterman is pulled after the second turnover, Murphy DOESN'T look like the second coming of Chris Leak and Tim Tebow.

If Worley would've started, ya'll would be complaining about that! My gosh just be patient already! We lost by 14, not 40, the players never quit. Obviously if the staff felt like peterman was better then that's their decision. They didn't know he'd do this! But we're all human, we make mistakes, lighten up! It's a process and we'll be back!

And you can only put so much blame on the coaching staff...WE DONT HAVE THE PLAYERS RIGHT NOW. I don't care what other coaches in the past have gone through and done. Tennessee has gone through a ton of unfortunate circumstances the last few years. We'll get there, brick by brick, I know you don't wanna hear it, I'm tired of hearing it too but BE PATIENT. Butch has inherited a mess from Dooley, kiffin and mike Hamilton. It's not gonna happen overnight.

I don't see a problem with a coach taking responsibility for loses as well as wins.:dunno:

Our DC was out schemed today

Let me give you this scenario and you tell me who it is on. Late in the game Florida has a 3rd and 10 and completes a 5 yard pass and Jaron Toney misses tackle allowing Florida to gain first down. Now the coaches had the player schemed into position to make play and he misses tackle. Is that coaching.

My point is at least this year the players are in position and not making plays and I am sure the coaches are not telling them to not make the plays.

The players are not always in good positions. That was apparent to me tonight. We had some bad defenses reads that hurt us as well as players in a position that left them a bad angle towards the play.

I will agree but is that coaching or a player taking a bad angle or just not enough speed. How many times today did the d-line get their hands on their QB today and not get him down.

The fact this has two likes is proof of how ignorant our fan base is. Kentucky, Vandy, Auburn, Missouri, have worse talent than us. Hell, by average recruiting, we had better "talent" than Oregon.

The savior we all thought Butch was, so far hasn't been it. That simple. He is not immune to criticism or mistakes. Dooley with this same roster but wilcox or any DC other than sunseri wins this game. (cue the idiots who come in to say YOU ARENT A FAN, DOOLEY SUCKS NOT TRUE, etc. Despite the fact Dooley had a worse roster than this and should've beaten LSU and UNC)

uh, we didn't play kentucky, vandy, auburn or mizzou today. we played a team that has superior talent at EVERY position right now.

our brilliant fans want to continue fooling themselves that we have top tier talent, BUT all of the unbiased experts say otherwise. That includes the opinion to pay attention to-vegas. They had florida as 17.5 points more talented.
