The future seemed pretty bright at that time. What followed was pure misery for two seasons.

Without a doubt. It was like being held hostage. Every Saturday I would promise myself I wouldn't get mad. Every Saturday by the 3rd quarter I would be blind with fury. Then as friday would role around and I would finally be gaining my composure back, Saturday would roll around and It would happen all over again. I found myself staking out the scenery just to check my damn mail, LOL. You don't understand...My neighbor is a UGA fan. The man across the street is from Gainesville and is a UF fan. It's been rough on my block for a while now and it's time for things to change.

Sounds to me like it's time to move. :whistling:

Bray had all the talent in the world

Just not a good leader

Well, it's even tougher to overcome that when you have the worst head coach in the FBS. He gets blamed for a lot that wasn't his fault. The Scar and Mizzou games he played fabulous and still lost bc our defense couldn't stop a middle school team.

You guys can make fun of Bray all you want.

Without him we would of went 1-11 this year.

I think most Vol fans wish the best for the kid, but he's just one of those guys that could have been so much more of a player in terms of work ethic, heart, and other intangibles. Blame it on his coaches or whatever, but I think this is why so many fans just couldn't relate to his laid back attitude of "whatever." You see QB's and other players that just have that "it" factor. Some guys just win. Some guys are just natural leaders. This is where he fell short, in my opinion, with so many fans to the point where they didn't care if he came back for his senior year or not. To put it simply, some guys have a lot of stats and some guys win. I hope he gets with the right team and changes some of his shortcomings as a QB because he could be an unbelievable player if he matures in some of these areas.

I would have loved to have had Tyler at qb in 05.

Pretty easy to separate the 2. Watch this.... 1. Brays Coach, Derek Dooley was the worst coach in the FBS and would've been hard for any qb to overcome; 2. Tyler Bray was a talented qb devoid of maturity and any leadership skills/ability.

There, both are true. That wasn't so hard was it?

Where is Bray rated now ?

I watched the NFL network last night. He is not in top 5 and their experts are saying Tyler Wilson was gaining attention and may be the best 3 or 4th round QB pick.

Tyler is rated close to 5th. Anyone who ranks glennon and Barkley, and Manuel ahead of him are fools. I don't think Barkley and Manuel make it in the pros. glennon has the characteristics of an NFL QB but doesn't have the skills Tyler possesses.

I don't know if we have some of the worst fans in the country but we damned sure have some of the dumbest. All of you fools bashing him will praise him when he does well in the NFL. Just like y'all have for Foster.

I couldn't give two shizes about foster. He was a complete whiner when he was here. And now he's a vegan which is weird. I never cheer for him.
