...says the guy who can neither understand facts nor spell the word another.

Haha really? I live in reality and thrive on facts. As far as not hitting the "r" you got me.
Now I guess it's back to bashing a kid who played for us during the worst 3 year span our school has known. You're a cool guy for doing that.

Not bashing a kid. Bashing a kid is what people did to Crompton when he didn't play well. Kid worked hard, kept a good attitude but just couldnt get it together on the field til his senior year.

I, and a helluva lot of other people, am just evaluating what we saw. I could dump a ton of stats on Tyler regarding how he played vs SEC teams vs out of conf teams to bolster the argument but I won't. He is a very talented kid who had some great highlight moments, but even he, along with every NFL scout I've heard, admits his "attitude issues" and his need to overcome them. That's it.

I wish him well, appreciated the td passes, didn't appreciate the attitude/antics. Looking forward to the next UT qb and him working and competing the right way.

I'd put my life on it if bray scored 70 points a game and still lost......you tards would still blame him for losing....

Are you guys stupid the kid scored 35+ points in almost every game.

As long as Bray goes to a team with any kind of quarterback issues, he will start at least 1 NFL game this year.

Man look at how thin Bray was. I actually liked to see this confidence outta him at the time. Wish I would've seen more of it over the last few years.

Nothing against those who prefer leading by example, because they're important too, but I think we need an outspoken leader on both sides of the ball. Someone to keep their teammates fired up and get in faces when someone drops the ball.

The biggest problem TB had IMO is HORRIBLE leadership from the top. There has been little to no leadership, accountability, stability or respect in the Head coaching position for the past 3 years. I feel bad for all the players who had to put up with playing under such horrible circumstances. I appreciate and applaud the players for sticking with it in spite of the idiot that ran our program while they were here. I damned sure will not bash them. All the players deserve better from the fans. Those bashing him or any of the other players should be ashamed.

Obviously, agree he was hampered by a void in leadership from Dools. He unfortunately didn't get the gift that Ainge got in that regard with Fulmers rehiring of Cutcliffe. So I get that. But not every kid has to be reigned in due to his poor attitude like Tyler should've been.

I can and have acknowledged Brays ability to make some great throws and put big points on the board and I pulled for the kid every single game, quarter and drive that he was our quarterback. Based on the points he up last year as qb we shouldve won 4 more games. Defense sucked and lost us those games, no doubt.

Kid has great talent and great potential. But I can acknowledge all that while also seeing his weaknesses, which again, he, all the guys who have interviewed him predraft and NFL scouting experts have identified. He's had to address his attitude, his lack of signature wins, the knock on him not being dedicated to the game and not always being prepared in every single interview I've heard with him. That's the truth.

He's also been called the steal of the draft. He's been praised by other "experts" as well. Opinions vary on him.
I've spent time around him and he's a good guy.

Not saying he's a bad guy. I've heard he's a good guy too even though I haven't spent anytime around. All kids make mistakes. I've seen where some guys have him as a steal and other guys have dropped him down because of the "intangibles". I just commented on what I saw over the last 3 years- lotta ups lotta downs. Tyler's a Vol and I wish him nothing but the best. I'll definitely be watching to see where he goes draft day.

Sorry guys, don't mean to pick this scab, probably shouldn't......

Tennessee’s Pro Day will take place on Wednesday, and no one doubts that quarterback Tyler Bray will show off an NFL-ready arm. The problem for Bray is that there’s a lot more to being an NFL quarterback than having a strong arm.

Bray, who left Tennessee with a year of eligibility remaining, will face questions about his accuracy and about his preparation, and those are questions that a player really can’t answer sufficiently in the scripted environment of a Pro Day. NFL Network’s Mike Mayock says the only way Bray could have answered those questions was to return to Tennessee for his senior season and put those questions to rest on the field.

“I was really surprised he came out,” Mayock said of Bray. “I thought he should have come back and refined his name a little more. If you ask me, who are the quarterbacks with the most arm talent in this draft, he’d certainly be in the top three. He can wing it. There’s no doubt about that. however, the ball’s all over the place. He’s inconsistent from an accuracy perspective, and you also have to get comfortable with the kid. What kind of kid is he? What kind of work ethic does he have? There are some concerns there from several of the coaches I talk to.”

Bray will surely be drafted, because a quarterback with that kind of arm always gets a shot in the NFL. But he probably won’t be drafted where he thought he would have when he decided to enter the NFL draft.

.....I wish the best for Tyler, he certainly has a spot in the NFL waiting for him. I just hope he is able to mature and make the most of it.
