...makes Richard Sherman and the Seattle defense look like fools. Without a doubt the Seahawks have an incredible defense. But I have really grown to hate Richard Sherman as a person. And I hope Peyton Manning and his receivers knock these young, self-centered, egotistical guys off their high horse.

Mods move if you feel it belongs in a different football forum. Just needed to vent for a minute.

Seattle's defense will be tough. Those corners are big and physical. I wonder why no one else does that.

I have to agree with not wanting a Superbowl in NYC in the winter time. I personally think the game should be played in a warm climate or dome so the weather doesn't affect the outcome of the game. If it's cold and rainy or snowy, that favors a running team and obviously hampers any passing attack. Yes, I know weather is part of football, but for the championship game you should only have to overcome your opponent - not the weather too.

Slightly different from Peyton in his classy $2500 suit. I actually like Kaep, but he coulda classed up that look a little bit.

Looks like a Florida Gator fan you would see being arrested for meth sales on an episode of COPS :eek:lol:

Goodell has been pushing for a NY/NJ Super Bowl since post-9/11.

I hope they ignore that fat jerk Christie during the game - all the $$$$ those NY teams have, a retractable roof could have been installed when they built it, then they wouldve gotten alot more venues (Dallas, Detroit, Houston etc)

Surprisingly, I disagree with several here. I've been waiting for years for the Superbowl to be played in an environment where the weather plays a key role in the game. It's the freakin Superbowl, I want to see the toughest, roughest game of the year. Only thing better would be if it snowed or something.

Uh, Goodell didn't become commish 'til 2006.

My bad, I guess the NFL had been since then, or Goodell had since he became the commissioner.

You get a like for having your numbers together here better than I did though.

I just seem to recall though that Goodell made a really big push (at least early on) for Super Bowls in NY/NJ and Washington, DC.

I definitely like football played in the elements.

I hope Peyton sticks a football down that huge mouth of Sherman's. What a tool. I despise people like him--no class, it's all about 'look at me', not about about team and good sportsmanship. Did I say 'no class'?

Way to cut him off, Erin.
