I just got some GREAT news...

I just found out Peyton Manning is coming out to my deployed location next week on a USO tour!!!! It will make my time here in this place worth it! I didn't think I would be this excited, but I am. The only bad thing is I don't have anything really nice for him to sign and with the short notice I won't be able to get anything sent out here. I do have a UT shirt I wear, I guess that will work. He won't be here long, so I'm sure he'll be going to some of the other bases as well. I hope if anyone else is deployed they will get to see him too!!

The American Gladiators came through here a couple months ago and did battle with the Army guys stationed here. It wasn't pretty for the Gladiators......

My section chief let us know. Check with your MWR people, they might know if he'll be heading your way.

Ya, I wish I had some more time. I do know the combat camera people out here, so I'm hoping they might be able to hook me up with a picture. I'm not sure what their printing capability is though.
