If Obama does get the nomination you'd better start carrying a barf bag 24-7. The stuff the 527s will put out will make Lee Atwater rise from the grave and blush.

cd, I am very interested to see who McCain goes after in a running mate. Does he look for a qualified female/minority to neutralize the "let's do something different" factor? Or does he go for a hardcore conservative to try and shore up his base? Personally, if I were advising McCain I'd tell him to stick to the middle. The social conservatives have no choice but to come around and they know it.

He doesn't have to go conservative because they will fall in line due to lack of choice. He can't can't go to far off his base because it would contradict his message. At this point I would test the waters with Romney.

I don't think so OE. Had this race just been Romney and McCain from the get go I'm not so sure of the outcome.

McCain should select Alaska governor Sarah Palin for VP running mate. Just so we have something look at.

I think Frist would be a good call, though i really like Fred and voted for him in the Primary. My reasoning is superficial, but take an honest look at the American People.

Bill looks young and full of life, Fred looks older. Fred's drawl won't help him in the, as OE lovingly declared us, Yuppie States. Is it right? NO, but the country is becoming pretty stupid, alot of votes are cast on style over substance. Not that there is a chance of a GOP nominee winning in New England, though it might go to a recount should the Jackasses nominate Hitler or Stalin.

It's not like i live in the Peoples Republic of Massachusetts!!! We have a GOP Governer and 1 GOP Congressman!! It isn't my fault that our districts are based around where the slums, and therefore the Democratic voters, are.
