I don't know any of you personally. But I'm a regular on this site. I love all things big orange. I love the Vol family.
I'm a truck driver by my screen name. My co driver and partner of 19 years is now in covid icu in Sidney Nebraska. I am also positive. We did everything right and still got this damn virus. Sadly I may lose my best friend to this crap. I'm 19 hours from my closest family member stuck in my truck. I have to sit here because the next 48 hours are vital. But I feel alone in this world. This big ole tough guy has been brought to begging for prayers tonight from one Vol fan to another. Ive cried more today than I can remember. So if you all could spare a few moments to ask God for a little prayer it would be appreciated.
Friend, I will pray for you and your buddy both. I am sorry for what you’re going through right now.
Just know this, that you don’t have to be alone in this world. You don’t have to fear what may come tomorrow. There is an omnipotent God who left Heaven, became meek and lowly, and shed His own blood for you on the cross at Calvary. His name is Jesus! A name above all other names. This is the gospel message, the good news: that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures and rose again 3 days later according to the scriptures.
Now, He tells us that we must all be born again. Once you are born again he says he’ll never leave you nor forsake you. He’s a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
Men, look around us. Look at what’s going on today. It’s high time we open our eyes and ears and give heed to the Lord.
Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Rom 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
