I love Gilbert and Beck but…

Nah, this is as far as it would ever go for you and we both know it. Thus you not earning the right to calling anyone ‘soft’. I guess your drooling idiot bunk buddy missed that one
You're so soft, your Viagra has to take Viagra. Charmin shall be your new nickname.

So how long have you been a virgin? Not sure you ever pulled a woman with lame s*!t like that. Assuming you’re into women
Haha, you need to adhere to the famous quote "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt"
Apparently, you don't take advice either. Just idiotic. Quit while you're behind.

In whose eyes? Yours? Let me smarten you up on something. You nor your opinion matter. You 2 internet bozos need to get over yourselves and go back to playing your video games
Once again, you are making yourself look like a fool. I'm 45 and don't play video games. Wife and 3 kids, now that may help your idiocy some but I'm not counting on it. You're the one who thinks your opinion matters and that's why you are getting your feelings hurt. You automatically assume stuff and by George, you let your fingers type it out and hit send. Seems like you're the immature one.

bro you’ve posted on this board almost 1100 times
Not sure what point you think you’re making. 1,100 posts in how long? About to insult the majority of the board if you think my post count is high. Didn’t realize a message board was a video game. Next time you think you have a ‘gotcha’ moment, log off and don’t hit send. You 2 apparently share a brain. Go find a functional one

You’re not important enough to ‘hurt my feelings’. And if I’m immature what does that make you by continuing this back and forth? Face it you’re an insecure she’ll of a person that has to provide an internet resume to prove some nonsensical point. I’ve grown tired of both of you losers.

Reading this thread reminds of a quote from an American cinema masterpiece, The Rock, as John was telling Stanley

Your “best”? Losers always whine about their “best” winners go home and f@&k the prom queen!

Are they brash? Sure. Are they a little emotional at times? Absolutely, but that has what has driven this team to this level.

So lets calm down about “class” you think any other fans would show this team “class” if they had lost today? Nope, screw’em, embrace being the Villains.

Lol, now c'mon Charmin, you're the one getting upset while me and @MSrivervol laugh about it. You resort to the "virgin", "like women", "she'll" comments like an immature kid. I was trying to help you out so you wouldn't look like such a fool when you type something. If I wanted an internet resume, I would provide stats or name drop people. I was just letting you know the truth so you wouldn't embarrass yourself anymore.

You sir are a gentleman for this gesture

Sure are a lot of people in this thread who I haven’t seen posting on this board all season complaining about Gilbert and Beck and downing them for no reason. Drew made a mistake, a mistake that really isn’t that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things. He served his punishment. He’s a great kid. Time to move on.

Think we probably need to shut this thread down @OldTimer. Turning into a football or basketball forum with all the personal attacks. If you can’t have an honest discussion/debate without making it personal or calling people names then maybe this isn’t the place for you.

For New/Infrequent Posters – The Rules Thread

The problem is some of the boomer generation who had everything handed to them, most of them don’t understand the concept of hard work
I want you to know that I am 75 years old and I had two paper routes when I was 12.............paid my way through college myself. Worked all my life, thank you !!!!!

Which is why the ump needed to have a conversation with Tony to let him know if he didn’t get a handle on his player then he’s gone. I haven’t been able to find if an umpire talked to Tony at all. If they didn’t then that was mismanagement on the umpire’s part.

You say FU to an ump…you should be tossed…no discussion necessary.

It actually does sell. Very well in fact. People like having villains in sports.

Ty Cobb, The Babe, and there's a very very long line of other MLB players not known for having great sportsmanship attributes. Bob Gibson was known to put one in your ear if he didn't like you. Just check out the conduct of SF players at Chavez Ravine or when the Dodgers go there. Steve Carlton the great Phillies pitcher hated everybody. The same is true for Boston and the Yankees when they are visiting teams. It's part of the game of baseball. The camaraderie and everything about MLB baseball is different than most sports in that you play 110 regular season games which does not include spring training, so as a group you're together alot competing against other people, moreso than other sports, it produces different sort of athletes also.

It's quite a bit different when you're making 7 figures in the majors. Like the quote in Bull Durham says, "If you win 20 in the show, you can let the fungus grow back on your shower shoes and the press will think you're colorful. Until then you're a slob." Same concept with acting like this.
