Here’s your money back. No one gives a crap what your opinion is of me. You’re certainly showing your ignorance making baseless claims on a message board.First of all it's an ump not a ref. Which to me shows your potential lack of experience in this game. Secondly calling the players childish is childish on your part IMO.
Anyway just my 2 cents.
That’s not why we lost yesterday so thanks for playing!… how can these guys be 1st round prospects? Baseball is a sport where the best players get out 70%, and the best teams lose 40% of their games.
Being intense and driven is one thing. Being unable to handle adversity or control yourself is another. Gilbert especially hurt his team. His actions led to us losing our pitching coach at a time where our guys need some help.
I hope both of these guys learn from this experience and become MLB all stars.
Gilbert was right because the pitch was way low!. Not to mention he got hit in his first at bat and should have been on then as well!… how can these guys be 1st round prospects? Baseball is a sport where the best players get out 70%, and the best teams lose 40% of their games.

I had two friends sitting in MVP right of the plate. They said he said F terrible, F horrible, but then was tossed at FU when the ump told him to calm down. Not sure the distinction matters. He’d been escalating over several innings.
I hope he gets to play another game. Don’t want him to end on that note.I was a little hot last night about him getting tossed, but it was warranted. That kind of behavior cannot become tolerated or normal in the game.
Gilbert asked for it and got it. He needs to get his emotions under control. A public apology is what I would insist on if I were his parent or his coach.
Heck the parents act worse than the kids at most sports events these days. Most have never touched a ball in their lives. What does that teach the kids?Let's just face facts. In today's world respect for authority is a lost art once taught by parents. What is no longer taught at home is rarely seen in the sports venue ! Have been expecting these kind of antics for weeks ! Not surprised at all. As a baby boomer we were taught that it was not a good thing to lose, however, when we do it must be with dignity.
The problem is some of the boomer generation who had everything handed to them, most of them don’t understand the concept of hard workLet's just face facts. I think you are confused. You mean most Gen Xers and Millennials haven’t been exposed to hard work. A lot of the younger folks I know want things handed to them on a platter. Have had to interview my share for trying to hire people. Most baby boomers (born between 1946 and 1964) I know had and still have a pretty good work ethic. I’m right in the middle of that range so that’s pretty much all of my friends. Of course maybe I run in different circles than you do.The problem is some of the boomer generation who had everything handed to them, most of them don’t understand the concept of hard work
What on earth are you talking about? Crappy attitude? This team has more passion than any team in any sport we have seen in years. This team has been the most fun thing to watch since the NC football team.I would’ve preferred he not curse directly at the ref and then sent one, or a second one later, into the parking lot.
These children need to grow up and learn how to focus their energy and intensity into something positive. As a parent, when my kids argue and be disrespectful, I make sure they understand how that might impact everything around them negatively and that if they used that energy to focus on the task at hand, it can be very empowering.
Maybe, just maybe, CTV and company can get some control back over this crappy attitude stuff.
