I Never Dreamed...

That one almost looked even better after tonight.
Mike DeCourcy made a good point in his column today. IU has beaten every team they've played where the talent was remotely close. After seeing Iowa last night, I wouldn't be shocked if IU beat them.

tonight was pretty painful to watch. honestly though, as long as his kids continue to give him maximum effort i'll continue to watch and support.

i can respect that.

if your Hoosier friends are miserable with this season they have a lot more personal problems than just the basketball team. anybody who expects anything other than what they're getting right now is setting themselves for disappointment. the larger portion of the fan base understands that.

perhaps their misery comes from having to be your friend? :p

at least it's two games this afternoon. i absolutely loathe Notre Dame and OSU, but i don't think i'm going to get my value out of the first game, so we'll stick around.

anyone else see Louisville lost to Western Kentucky....how overrated could they be?

Louisville IS overrated, but it's funny to see WKU beat them after Pitino has dodged playing them all these years. Now that WKU has beaten them, WKU can demand playing in Diddle.

So they can beat them again.

Lots of Cream and Crimson in the building. The new digs here in Indy are nice.

Gee, where have I heard "Louisville is overrated" before? That's right, when they struggled early last year. They ended up five minutes away from the Final Four.

I hear ya hatvol, but you know, there's no way they deserved the #3 ranking so early this year.

Watching IU-TCU, the Hoosiers look a whole lot like Kevin O'Neill's first Tennessee team.

lots of turnovers but lots of hustle. going to be a theme this year.

actually enjoyed the games on Saturday. the Hoosiers played well enough to keep the fans interested in the game. the Harangody kid is a moster in person. even got a little snow. Lucas Oil Filed is quite impressive.

the Final 4 will have a different setup.

I'm sure I speak for everyone who has an appreciation of the tradition and standards of Indiana basketball when I say it's much better to win 10 games with Tom Crean on the sidelines and those kids on the floor than to win 30 with Kelvin Sampson in leading the group of miscreants he had on the squad last year.

without question.

the fan support hasn't wavered because they see the effort and the hustle. and we know he's got help coming next year.

lots of folks at the game Saturday with Crean & Crimson shirts on. i thought that was sort of clever.

When is UK going to schedule WKU at Diddle, if at all?
How about UK vs. WKU in Louisville with WKU getting a fair crack at the tickets?

UT vs. WKU in Nashville last season made for a great atmosphere and game.

I noticed that after losing to UAB in Louisville last year, UK will be playing Appy State in Louisville this season. Billy G keeps having to reach lower and lower into the bowels of Division 1 to find a guaranteed win.

Bad basketball plus bad officiating makes for a long day.

today's game was a battle of who was worse. IU wins, but not by much.

without that 5 minute burst by UK in the 1st half, we have a close game.

both teams suck.

Temple?

Seriously, If I'm an SEC coach, I would be worried if I see the first 15 minutes of what Kentucky dished out. Kentucky's starting to click.

You do realize they were playing a team that Chaminade took to the final buzzer, don't you? Yeah, really starting to click. A week ago, they were down 20 at the half in their own building against a team that will finish 4th or 5th in the ACC. The SEC stinks. Kentucky is no exception right now.
