I refuse to watch Vandy in a bowl game

Referees from ACC blind as bats. A couple horrible calls against Vandy. I am not a Vandy or Baylor fan but, I like football and this is on. I also support SEC. I will say having a senior QB like Vandy has makes a difference. JG will be a junior and then Senior. With CJP building our lines, and fingers crossed for a great OC, we can get a lot better. Hard to get much worse. Just saying.

Desperate for college football, I find myself watching tonight as a former Vandy QB in the broadcast booth reminds viewers every 2 minutes that Vandy beat Tennessee -- while we watch Vandy struggle against a 6-6 Big 12 team.

Stop it with that nonsense. Vandy just knocked us out of a bowl game, and claims TN is their state. How do you feel about that?

More like watching Baylor struggle against a 6-6 SEC team. Well he did say Mason was the only Vandy coach since the 1920s to beat UT 3 years in a row so there's that?

We must improve because all the freshmen-juniors from Vanderbilt know is beating Tennessee. Hell I think Kyle Shurmer is listed as UT’s father on Wikipedia.

I think you’re being a little dramatic. I’m watching the game and haven’t heard it like you apparently are and to say they are “struggling” means you and I have completely different definitions of that word.

Well honestly 6-6 doesn't deserve a bowl game. 7-5 should be the minimum. Honestly, wish they'd do away with about half these crappy bowls. Expand the playoff and make it interesting somehow..

On the Wake Forest post game Rick Barnes said he pulls for the SEC out of conference. He’s not a true Vol Fan IMO

They put a beat down on us this year, just like we used to do to them year after year. And we will again. I just can't hate them with the passion that I hate Florida and others.

Are they struggling or going toe to toe with an evenly matched team?

Are we really quibbling over the word struggle? Is that what we've been reduced to?

Why? Why not just watch the games that interest you and dont watch the games that dont? Nearly all the semifinal cfp games have been blow out. I dont see how putting a bunch of teams thats dont deserve to be there helps that.

Nope. Some of us haven’t been reduced to anything. Others can’t seem to get past wallowing in their own misery though.

Vandy is doing ok so far and they certainly have bigger fish to fry than TN these days. That will be true even if Baylor beats them by 40. TN fans want the bowl season shortened so they won't finish so far down the rankings in the rod-measuring contests with their SEC neighbors who like GA and SC.

"I told him that he probably shouldn't play [against Texas Tech] because he has a big NFL future ahead of him,” Ruhle said after that game, according to DallasNews.com. “He hurt his knee, but he wouldn't come out. He was going to play a lot of tailback, but he couldn't.

“He went out there, caught four balls and made some great blocks. It was one of the more selfless acts for this team.""

Guess the kid isn't all that bad when found a coach that is real.
