I'm not even sure they'll make the NIT. They've thrown in the towel. No hustle, no energy, they just didnt care to be there from tip-off. If you wondered how Texas A&M would do without Johnny Manziel, you just saw the result in a basketball game. I thought UK would rally from Noel's injury and play balls to the wall, man was I wrong.

Props to UT for playing the best they could possibly play. You could tell they wanted this game BAD. I didnt understand why Martin still had the starters in when you're up 30 with 3 mins to go, its a little dirty but so be it.

theres so much more wrong with UK than Noel being out




and gtfo with your dirty comment. UK played no walk ons in a 29 point win over LIU. Only Hood in a 32 point win over samford. just get out. sore loser.

hahaa...LIU? Holy moly, you must be like the Rain Man. I didnt even know they were on the schedule. You remember the attendance, too? Dont get wound up, enjoy the big win. I just thought it was a little dirty to have the starters still in.

Sore loser? Vols wanted it more, they played hard and fought for it. I'm disappointed to see UK throw in the towel, but far from angry...it is what it is. Good luck with the rest of UT's season.

HAHA so because he knows more about your own team than you yourself it didnt happen. This is a rivalry game, and you play 100% all the time, if you have a problem with that, do it yourself and keep up.

UK has never let up on UT in any game, silly to think it would be otherwise.

I still dream at night of the 101-40 drubbing UT took in the SEC tourney in 93, for retribution after that fiasco in TBA 2 weeks earlier. It is what it is.

UK has laid down folks.

A rival game? Thats funny. I think thats a little one sided. UT hates UK a LOTTTT more than the other way around. I can think of 20 teams I'd rather beat than UT. In fact, I dont even dislike UT. The fact that this board has a dozen UK fans should tell you something.

UK's basketball rivals are Louisville, Indiana, Duke, UNC and Kansas. Football, yes. Basketball, No. I dont want to compare records, titles and streaks to prove my point. Just relax and enjoy the day :)

Very much alike. Both have a tremendous effect of defense vs offense. Noel = best blocker in the country. Leads team in steals, blocks, rebounds and changes the game entirely on the defensive side.

Only difference is Noel is the #1 pick in the NBA.

UK finds UT a rivalry in football because UT has accomplished something. UT hasnt accomplished anything basketball wise for UK to consider them a big game in the schedule. I'll take a sweep from UT every year for a win over Louisville.

The flip side of the Tennessee's football "rivalry" with Kentuuckyyy. Right cowboy?

I listen to the AM Kentucky sports shows, Matt Jones and his moron sidekick. They seem to hate Tennessee and Louisville about the same.

Its a different team. They're down and out with Noel's injury. Billy Gillispies team would have beat them today, and I'm not exaggerating. On the positive side, this UT win will definitely buy Martin another season.

Its not a basketball rivalry because UT hasnt accomplished anything. If TN and KY werent border states it wouldnt even be mentioned. 1 elite 8 appearance with 0 final fours and 0 titles.....and you think UK considers UT a big rivalry? :eek:lol: In 25 matchups UT has won 5? That doesnt sound like a rivalry.
