I still can't quite believe

Uhhh, surely you are not comparing Heupel to Smart and Saban. Heupel has definitely improved UT since he has been here. Beat Bama twice and won his bowl games. Is that enough? Will the UT faithful be happy with that long term?
Nobody said that we will be happy with that. But your intention that we have settled during down times is wrong. We went through coaches just like everyone else did. Heupel inherited nothing like DeBoer did. We are climbing that’s a fact, GBO!!!!!!

Does anyone here feel a little sorry for Debor? I know bammers and they are ready to run him out of town. Bammers believe they should never lose a game, Bring on a table dancer or anyone that can match Sabin's record. And to think the Vols and Vandy brought this misery on the Tater diggers down under!
He knew what the job was when he took it and I don't feel the least bit bad for him.

We beat UF and Bama in back to back weeks with a RS Freshman QB. And some people want him benched and coaches fired because it wasn't pretty enough. I'm not sure if I love or hate this timeline. You'd think 20+ years being irrelevant would change some folks.
Thank you. It’s blowing my mind how negative some of the responses are from fans. Already becoming ungrateful is absolutely unacceptable considering what we’ve been through. Nico is learning, and even when he wasn’t performing well in the first half, he was making pretty good decisions. He was just missing. Once he gets settled in, I see him having a very bright future. That may have been the breaking point or it will take till next year to get there. Regardless, we need to stick by him. People forget he has not played football very long at a high level. There’s adjustments that come with that.

I can’t believe Tennessee hasn’t had any heisman winners we should have had three but ESPN sucks

Oh man, I love Pepperidge Farm shortbread cookies. Years back, being the oddball I am, I often bought the cookies because I liked the package ad. It showed a poorly dressed guy in a suit. Beneath that it said: The science of beautiful dress has absolutely nothing to do with Pepperidge Farm shortbread cookies. I don't know why I got such a kick out of that.

. . . and we’re dangerously close to squandering it for the second time in those three years. In 2022, we no-show against a less than mediocre South Carolina team. In 2024 we no-show against an Arkansas team that we should have defeated comfortably.

Without a win against Georgia, Tennessee is as likely as not be one of those left out of the 12-team playoff. It’s enough to make you lose your mind. Leaving things up to the polls or a committee will get us left out. Tennessee doesn’t get the benefit of the doubt.

Pi$$ing away opportunities is what we do. I hope that we find a way to make it happen. It’s a tough proposition in any case . . . It’s even harder when we continue to not handle our business. AND it’s in a season when we actually have a favorable schedule.

Just win.

Just win, baby. We ain’t getting the benefit of the doubt from the polls or a committee.

I thought we would not see greatness again in my lifetime. It will be interesting to see how we fare in the years ahead with the playoff system and NIL. As I see it, both are a plus for Tennessee. Can you imagine the excitement of a night playoff game at Neyland?

We have unfinished business with Michigan.
As we handle business, let's not forget their roll in the 2022 season. That business day will come.
For now Tennessee will again show improvement where it's needed. The remaining schedule may be even tougher than it appears but I expect the team to be up to the challenge.
