Well you saying Golden gives 100% every game is crap. Stupid/lazy passes EVERY game is more like it. How many TO's did he have tonight? Now please, quit avoiding the question. Is Hall a true 5? Did Bobby Maze, a true scorer coming to TN, convert himself into a very good PG in less than a year? Why is Golden held to a different (lower) standard?

1. TO's are not directly linked to effort. Sometimes players make mistakes.

2. What is a true 5? The skill set required for playing the 5 in college basketball is pretty much the same skill set required for playing the 4.

3. Bobby Maze was never a "very good" PG. don't kid yourself.

So dumb=lack of effort?

3.

Yes. Doesn't matter anyway because 4/5 are the same while 1/2 are not.

No, Bobby Maze was never a very good PG.

He's only a sophomore while Maze was a junior/senior who had played PG his whole hs/college career.

Of course Hall isn't a true 5. He is the tallest player on the team. We don't have/run a true 5 offense. We don't have a Greg-Oden like player to have a true 5 center position.

Did Bobby Maze have a year to sit on the bench to learn the offense? Did Bobby Maze choke in 3 consectutive games?

He had to sit late in games for a walk on because his defense was that bad.

And when did Bobby Maze become a very good PG?

Bobby Maze averaged 9 points and 3 assists as a senior on a team with Tyler Smith, Wayne Chism, JP Prince, and Scotty Hopson. Trae Golden averages 14 points and 5 assists as a sophomore on our current squad.

Wait let me get this straight.. Bobby Maze scored LESS on a MORE talented team? You don't say! Very astute observation.

Yeah... as in Golden is our leading scorer so teams probably focus on him more defensively... whereas teams didn't focus at all defensively on Maze...

He averaged 3 assists with guys like Smith and Hopson to pass the ball to. You've also made it clear Golden's ability to score the ball has no bearing on his PG ability.

No sense in arguing with you idiots you'll keep believing it's because he's "playing out of position" instead of the true fact that he sucks. Come back in two years when he still hasn't accomplished anything and try to defend him then. You're probably a Tebow fan too.

Golden also had a higher FG%, 3P%, FT%, better Ast/TO ratio, and is a better defender.

Totally awesome job altidore. Totally awesome job.

You got worked son, admit it and we can all bro-hug and move on to more pressing matters like Saturday's matchup against UCONN.

Also, I move we revisit the "boyfriend" argument in light of the great Bobby Maze being brought up in comparison.

Since when did 14.2/5.4/3.1 suck?

How many turnovers? What his FG%? He shoots more than anyone of course he's going to have the most points.

It's called the Kobe Bryant effect. Inflated numbers due to playing on a bad team= make you look better than you are.

In two years, if he is still having to play PG, the point will still be valid and still be correct.

LOL at bringing Kobe Bryant into your argument as an example of someone with "inflated numbers"
