am I the only person who remembers a request by Saddam for the US to stop U2 overflights, and the request being granted? This was during the run up to the war, and because the overflights were part of the UN-cease fire, the US had to cease since the UN approved the request.

Then, do you remember the huge bunker complex that had been sealed by the UN, but when the US military arrived, all the bunkers' seals had been broken and their contents were gone?

Saddam had WMD's, he had a lot of them.

Not only did he have them, he used them. Ask the Kurds. He broke many UN sanctions also.

Me personally, I didn't want to wait around until he used a WMD on us or some other country. He is dead and the world is a better place.

Ask Bill Clinton how playing nice went!! His lax dealings with terrorists is what got us 911. Terrorists dont think like normal people and can not be dealt with on normal speaking terms.
