GW was told about weapons of mass destruction, he just didn't make it up in his head one day. So let me ask you this, since you don't believe in war. Are we just suppose to sit back and let attacks on the U.S. just happen? by your response, the answer would be yes

A nation has to go to war or take military action from time to time; it's impossible to avoid.

I can see being against violence although there are times when a beat down is called for IMO.

Also try having some respect for the person who is our president and don't call him a dumbarse.

Frankly it makes you look like one.

I believe in Diplomacy first and foremost..then war if we have to.Have a little prove of something before you go invading countries..don't go invading on a hunch.

I would respect Bush if he deserved it,I don't think being president entitles you to be respected..it's something you earn.

Diplomacy is great and I believe it has its place, but ultimate diplomatic means of this nation lie in our military and economic might.

So a lot of you think it's ok to splatter people with machine gun fire and bombs.But it's not ok for joe blow to splatter someone in our society if he's pissed off.The president says"KILL" and it's legal...makes no sense to me.

When you are dealing with muslim fundamentalists diplomacy will get you nowhere. In fact it is a tool they use to buy time and create the foundation for excuses to back out of any deals reached. For a great example see our negotiations with the Palestinians over the last 15 to 20 years.

I agree that diplomacy is a useful tool in some situations but more often than not in todays world it simply buys your enemies time to build their war machine.

If war is the only answer to keep things as they are I would hope the dear Lord would take me now because I don't want to live in a world that thrives on war.

War has been part of civilization for as long as people have been on earth. For a realist you sure spend a lot of time in the clouds.
