Not sure you can generally say Alaskans are happy with Palin - plenty of questions about corruption and cronyism in her short tenure.

But both she and Obama are short handed when it comes to demonstrated leadership in terms of being POTUS. That's why it comes back to their depth of knowledge of the issues at hand.
