I was supposed to interview Sarah Palin, but ....

thinking obama is a socialist and will be a bad president is not the same thing as hating the man.

I am fully aware of that fact. Savage has said he has contempt for the man.

When I need for you to explain anything to me, I will ask you. That time will likely never happen either

Get used to it. You don't have to neither like it nor speak nicely of it. It is you right as an American, but you have to face it, Savage, Obama is the commander-in-chief of the United States of America. It is only sad for those who live in bubbles and base their lives on fear and hate. Deal with it.

It amazes me how so many people can claim to love America but have a clear hate for so many Americans.

Why would it amaze you? We have seen things like this all throughout our history as a nation. It didn't start, nor will it end with Obama.

I live in a bubble? This coming from a person whose idea of the civil rights movement was, his father signed a petition, and a Black family attempted to join their country club? :eek:lol:

Try again, you failed miserably with that attempt. I literally grew up in "the hood". There were no insulating bubbles. The police had a name for guys like you who ventured into the area, "the victim".

You know who, how, and what I hate? I understand that you are an absolute master of the ASSumption. So, please feel free to share anymore insights you might have about my inner feelings.

BTW, fear is not a word associated with me very often. You might want to trash that ASSumtion too.

They didn't teach that concept at his Daddy's country club.

Yes, I hold everything he stands for in contempt. Contempt and true hatred are totally different.

I doubt very seriously you have ever experienced true hatred. I did not until I was 37 years old. It was then I was very shocked to learn the meaning of hate. We actually truly hate almost nothing. We say, "I hate this", or "I hate that', but you don't. Until you experience pure hate, you have no idea how ugly it is.

You should thank droski instead of chastising him. Someone certainly needs to explain some things to you. Your feeble attempts to figure it out for yourself, have ended in utter disaster.

Disaster?

You could only be so lucky.

Don't ever pretend to know what I have experienced.

My idea of the civil rights movement is much more complex than you will ever know. You can't fathom what I know. In fact, the total tonnage of what I know that you don't know would stop a herd of oxen in its tracks. And next time, get it right Gomer. My father didn't sign the petition against letting the blacks into the neighborhood and he got the black family into the country club. And how would a simpleton like you ever know what the repercussions would be from doing such acts? You don't, so you should STFU on such matters

And the day I will ever need you and anyone like you to explain things to me will be the day hell freezes over.

Too bad you edited your statement about "how many 'hoods' you've been through. Have you ever lived in one? Living there is a bit different than driving through at noon with your car doors locked.

It's far away from the whitebread world of the country club. I've experienced both worlds. You don't have a clue.

Yes, I know the repercussions of such actions. How about you? Did you ever get bussed when you were a kid?

How about race riots? You ever have National Guardsmen riding your streets enforcing a curfew? See them in trucks and in jeeps with mounted machine guns? Ever see that in front of your home? You ever been a 9 year old kid tossing a frisbee with a guy one week fresh from Vietnam. A guy with a chunk the size of a plum missing from his neck as a souvenir? Yet, you both had to run like hell for the house when saw headlights. Run because you didn't want to be shot for violating a riot imposed curfew?

OOPS! My bad. That didn't happen at the country club, did it?

Now, what was it you know? That the bad guys can't get you at 60 mph, with the car doors locked?

the other hoax is that none of the things said about Palin are true, but there are idiots out there who hate Palin for no good reason who'll latch on to anything that seeks to discredit her.

How do you know? Trust me, I understand your frustration (and Palin's) with these unnamed sources. I'm even willing to admit that these unnamed sources probably have an agenda (which is to sandbag Palin), but I wouldn't go so far as to say they're lying... b/c there is no way to know for sure.

I was watching the news this morning, and they were saying how Sarah Palin just won't go away, and I'm thinking... yeah, that's because you all keep putting her on the news every single day!

like the one Obama told about Nancy Reagan?

His credentials are far funnier, but the media didn't seem to laugh at either. What gives?

His comment and subsequent apology re: Nancy R. and seances or what have you was discussed on every network I saw. I understand the respect issue and the desire not to mock the aging widow of a now deceased president, but IMO mocking of utilization of wizardry, Ouji boards, Magic 8 Balls, Astrology, or whatever nonsense one might employ to figure how to run the free world is perfectly well deserved.

I agree. I couldn't believe people made a big deal out of an offhand remark about astrology . . . and that he actually apologized for it.

Obama mocking Reagan is laughable.

Obama couldn't carry Reagan's jockstrap.

For a period of time, it appears she did. Or at least that the stars guided her and she adfvised R.

He mocked her use of astrology (though he referred to it as seances).

As I say, I get the respect issue for the old lady, and Obama dutifully apologized, but I mean come on.
