I wonder if Golesh lands a HC job after this season

I don't know why any winning coach would want to jump ship to the NFL. They almost always fail ( except for Pete Carrol ). The no fun league gets most all of their coaches from within the confines of the league. It's a different world.

You can recruit withing 2 hours of campus and fill a roster that could win the damn acc... the only pause would be academics but i think there are ways around it
If it’s that easy, why have they been irrelevant for 50 years?

Honestly, He should take any P5 HC job offered anywhere not named Auburn. You only get a few chances to take shots like being a head ball coach.

Auburn is on of the few jobs he should take. You should go somewhere you can recruit and win. With Saban retiring soon there will be a huge power vacuum in the west. I could also see him taking over at a UCF, Cincinnati, or even App St kind of job.

It’s Heupels system but I think I read that Golesh does call the plays with Heupels input.

Auburn wouldn’t be a good fit for Golesh. He has never been a head coach before. If I were him I would go to GT first. Try to improve them and then use that as a bridge to a better job. He would have a ton of pressure on him at AU.

Georgia Tech would be a good place to go if you want coach your tail off to play .500 ball for 8 years and have everyone across the country think you suck.
