Don't need him, next year's starting quarterback will be here in January. Dobbs and Peterman can back him up.

It will be very, very difficult to start a true Freshman over Peterman or Dobbs. I will say its a safe bet Peterman starts and redeems himself with a big win in the Swamp.

Peterman is the leader going into the SPRING game, it's his job to lose.

If Worley goes down with an injury, Peterman is next up.

A SAFE bet? I'd love to see it but I wouldn't bet a nickel of someone else's money on it.

Something could have changed, but everything I've seen since his commitment says he'll be here in January.

Dormady is in the same class as recent signees. Good prospect but not a can't miss. Butch needs a can't miss guy to get to the championship level.

Peterman could be QB at any time. He is a far more accurate passer than Worley or Dobbs and has the legs to run in this scheme.

Dormady is a great prospect who seems much like Peterman. Peterman knows he won the summer competition in terms of skill and may transfer if Jones doesn't allow him serious playing time.

Peterman is getting better, and better. He's a guy that shouldn't see the field till his junior year. I THINK we final have a qb coach. Then you have a qb cluster you know what coining when JJ an QD hit campus. Only time will tell.

IMO there's is no such thing as a "can't miss". Anything can happen from injury, to legal problems to grades.

I thought he looked shaky the other night in limited action. How is he getting better? Dobbs will pass him up and has a bigger upside. I hope Dobbs redshirts....

Is this something you have read, heard, interpreted or know first hand? Inquiring minds want to know.

So you're basically saying Peterman is clearly better than Worley, but our coaches are for some reason playing someone that doesn't give us the best chance to win. Also, considering Worleys numbers last week, and so far today, Peterman must be completing like 85% of his passes.

He's an idiot Tennessee doesn't want to get involved with a kid who's never played yet has all the answers. Kelly has an attitude with those in authority.

I know he won because I watched the video of each and every practice. Peterman was VERY accurate and rarely missed. He was the only QB hitting the long passes consistently and all his passes were placed well for the receivers. Others noticed too. Peterman was promoted to #2 for his performance.
Worley was chosen to start because he brings game management experience. The offense is ridiculously young and inexperienced, so Jones wants to keep as much experienced leadership on the field as possible.
