A moderated user base. Allow me to elaborate:

VN is continually under fire from both inside and out. We have recruits watching these boards. We have other teams watching these boards. We have other fans watching/participating on these boards. I’m a 1a guy all day long but I can’t abide anti-Vol rhetoric and the cultivation (however sly/nuanced) thereof.

I’d like to propose a system wherein Freak serves up posts from new users to a dedicated content council (3 or 5, no ties), to validate new users. It seems we’re hitting scale that requires a recalibrated approach to the curation of content.

What say all?

Maybe he is only a girl pretending to be a guy? Maybe it is undecided about its gender. Sorry but that was my best attempt to be PC. As you can tell I am not very good at it. lulz

I would like to counter-propose a system wherein every post talks about how the Vols GWTFA and if any post does not talk about how the Vols GWTFA then the moderators will immediately change said post to indicate that the Vols GWTFA and in addition any post that wishes to use the word "Alabama" must pay a obscenity fee donation to the VolNation end-of-season pizza party fund, except "pizza" is a code word for kegs and "pizza party" is a code word for kegger. Oh and anyone who says, you know, that particular phrase the Bammers use, well, they must donate 40 hours of community service helping Bob Kesling use those phonetic reading blockies to practice player name pronunciation.

What? I figure if we're doing fanciful wishes I might as well start strong.

We are not snowflakes on this board like you see on college campuses and in the media. Only one side is permitted and everyone is indoctrinated to one POV? I don't like the negativity either and it could have some effect on recruits, etc., but everyone can have their say. Most people who grew up outside of the sheltered environment can detect BS most of the time. "Inclusiveness" meaning freedom is always the best policy. No censorship here---please!!!!!!!!!!

It certainly has nite like potential . Wait! I just figured out part of the process for OP as I typed that out!!!

After the counsel, or Volhedrin if you must reviews the noob posts they shall grant a seal of approval notifying the board that said post is acceptable . I’m thinking something like this.....
