IF Dooley wins out the next 3 games, he will be retained for another year, but Sunseri will be canned/resign.

IF Dooley loses any more, the entire group is done.

Why wait until the end of the year to fire Sunseri? I just can't believe that the defense would be any worse. I think AJ could call the play coverage just as well and without the confusion.

Surely he wouldn't call a single deep safety coverage on third and a mile like Sunseri does.

They need to either say he's staying or not coming back. Recruits aren't going to comit to us not knowing what out coaching situation is going to be.

Even though Hart is handicapped by his Bama education, even he isn't dumb enough to keep Dooley around next year. As much as I want to see him gone today, he will probably stay until the end of the season.

Unfortunately I think Hart doesn't have the balls to fire Dooley until he loses again. With our defense we may not have to wait too much longer.

Sadly we're just delaying the inevitable for nothing at this point. Next year we're going to be the same if not worse than we are now and the "FIRE DOOLEY" rants are just going to get louder and more numerous.

I realize you quoted it, but he didn't earn anything. He is on barrowed time as it is. I really don't think this is an issue in question...it's a timing and placement matter.

I think the timing of the Dooley decision is a make-or-break for the football program. I know many will disagree with me but if we keep Dooley, I think this program gets worse all the way around.

Whether you guys like it or not Dooley is going to be here until the end of the year. Hart is not an idiot fan. He has probably put feelers out already for a replacement. But he seems like a smart guy, and if he can't find someone interested enough who is more proven, then Dooley will be here next year. He's not going to fire him just to fire him. I know many of you idiots think anything is better than Dooley, but you couldn't be more wrong. It could get much much worse.

I've tried to be rational about the situation. I've argued that maybe Dooley deserves more time, but 100 plays and 720 yards against a Sunbelt conference team, that you have to beat on the last play of the game, after ther refs rob them on the last drive? Nah, that is pretty much a job destroyer when you're on the hot seat.

Dooley hasn't earned zip dot sh*t. This is one of the worst teams I've ever seen play in my 40 years of following the vols.

The advantage to a bowl is the extra practice time for the team and the visibility to recruits, not the money (unless it is a BCS bowl).......

I would have agreed with you about not firing Dooley if a more proven coach could not be hired until today. When I seen the crowd and lack of defensive effort I think a change will be made no matter what.

I can't believe I am seeing Dooley supporters pop up. We just SURVIVED TROY. Read that again. We just SURVIVED against a sunbelt team.

My god, Dools has turned us into a losing WAC team.
