Unless you are moving to Texas I see no need for you to check them out. I told you what they do and you can either accept it or reject it.
You obviously like talking about things you know nothing about so carry on.
Big difference between can't and won't in a public forum and you obiously do know nothing about this. If you really want to know more you can PM me and we can discuss by phone.
Riiigggghhttt. Too bad there's not a cure for cancer and too bad the stuff they give you makes you sicker and it's really too bad that each chemo visit can cost anywhere from $16,000 to $23,000 a pop...or escape pain?
Honestly. $100,000? $500,000? $1,000,000?
I am sick of this so called "problem." Someone saves your life or alleviates your chronic pain and people want to bi*ch because they get a bill?
Why not? It's ludicrous to expect the government to pay for either of them.
It's also ludicrous to expect someone who makes $20,000 a year to pay a $250,000 hospital bill.
Look, I'm not for UHC. But I think that the cost of coverage is insane. Not to mention people that can't even get coverage in the first place, due to a pre-existing condition. They've got to find a way to get premiums to the point where it's accessible to most anyone.
Shockingly, people survive cancer all the freaking time.
How does this change the fact that you haveno rights to someone else's money? We can all make the whiny argumet that life is hard on some and that many are dealt tough sets of facts. More free stuff isn't going to change that. It started at free basic necessities and had blossomed into an enormous welfare state. Pretending it's heartless to try and stop our march to large scale worthlessness makes no sense to me.So let me get this straight,God knows i will probably get labeled as a liberal as written in the Limbaugh bylaws...
If you are a human being who for whatever reason, dosent rise to the cream of the crop, works your ass off for little money for most of your life, and God forbid, gets sick.
Then finds themselves in financial ruins because of the absurd cost of hospital stays, prescriptions medication and such. Yet you are the whiny douche because you want to find a better way? Seriously...
This is why i always will be an independent. Human beings who want to get well without killing themselves doing it is considered a handout? pro lifers who preach the value of life are devaluing it in the same breath by condemning people who can't afford the luxury of getting better? Really?
Im not a fan of free handouts, or people who recklessly use the compassion of others
but we are in a situation now where productive people in society cannot afford coverage, obviously something needs to be done in a proactive manner.
Bitching about it and asking for free Cadillacs is busch league, if you really think that cures should be given to the highest bidder then obviously we have completly digressed to a "ME" society...
there are plenty of deadbeats who game the system and try/succeed in getting something for nothing when in fact they are capable of paying for it.
unfortunately, there are also some truly needy people who are NOT capable of paying their own way, including paying for health care.
pretty clear what everyone here thinks about group #1, but as a country what do we do with group #2?
your mere existence does not automatically create a burden for someone else (other than your parents).
