If Kiffin Stayed

How do you people know this? You can see the future? Again, I say to you doofs, prove we wouldn't have a program.

To be fair, you made this assertion with as much "proof" as they presented:

"We'd definitely have more depth and talent."

Considering the current status of Kiffin's only signing day, this is tenuous at best.

We wouldn't have James Stone making bad snaps and that probably gets us a win against UGA. Just saying...

We'd also be on probation for three years with 30 scholarships lost.

Don't fool yourself, the only reason the NCAA did not HAMMER our football program is that we got rid of everyone (that mattered) associated with Coach X's regime.

Furthermore, we would not have more talent. We'd have less talent because Coach X's players couldn't stay on the field. They liked guns and drugs, aka as the thug life, more than they liked football.

That is all.

Why in the hell are they trying to change James' snap anyway. Who cares if he uses his left hand to snap? I noticed that the LSU center uses his left hand. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

This is something I'm curious about as well. Granted, I've never been a center, so I'm sure there's a good explanation. But right now, I just don't get it. Please 'splain, someone!

1* comment from a 4* poster.

I saw you post earlier that you participate in the Vol Navy. I'm gonna come crash your party. :) I've always wanted to float up on gameday from Kingston (I usually stay there at Watt's Bar on the game weekends), but we have a pontoon boat. LOL :)

If he snaps it with his left hand to a right handed QB, then there's a much higher chance the snap could be bobbled because of Stone's arm getting in the way of the QB's hands. Doesn't always happen, but when under center, the chance is much greater. Not as big of a concern in shotgun.

Call me naive, but I believe him when he says that USC was the only job that he would leave U.T. for.
You know that he loved the competition of Bama, LSU, Florida and UGA on the field and the recruiting wars against them.
Yes, Kiffin did bring several recruits that left but he also brought Juwan James, Fulton, Bray, Miller, Gordon, Teague, Palardy, who are contributors.

O'kay, you're naive :wink2: I think Lane Kiffin is loyal to Lane Kiffin and Lane Kiffin only (did I say his name enough to make the point?). I think he'll eventually make a mess of every program that he's a part of. Some Vol fans treat him like the girlfriend who cheated on them. "You know, besides that she was really hot". When a new coach comes in they usually stir up some excitement and get some good recruits, win a game or two they weren't supposed to. Then reality sets in and they have to start coaching. That may be where we are richt (sorry, right) now. Kiffin's a blow hard........with a hot wife.

How do you know we would have 30 lost scholarships?

Also, they left on their own. Tennessee did not get rid of them.

James, Fulton, Bray, Smith, Miller, Teague, etc. might have something to say about "thug life" as well, right? He did recruit all of those guys.

We would also be banned by NCAA ...UT boards all over knoxville would have Kiffin's pictures (wish Layla's but oh well)..and we would still loose to Bama, LSU , Florida..and be a 7-5 team..:loco:

I have a solution for you: Go root for Kiffin and USC.

If Kiffin had stayed, we would be so far under the NCAA sanction truck that it wouldn't matter.

Further, you will see how Kiffin stacks up when he plays Oregon and Stanford later in the year.

There's a simple solution to this. Go be a USC fan and then you can continue to love kiffin! Plus you can enjoy all the success he is having! We have Dooley cuz kiffin left us. Deal with it or start posting and cheering for the Trojans

Kiffin has elite talent in USC and can't go undefeated in the Pac-12. I will stick with someone that has no talent and goes 6-6. This atleast gives us hope for the future. If Kiffin can't win with what he has now then he will never win.

So when Dooley gets fired you will follow him to Tennessee Tech and root for them?

I cant believe someone still wish Kissin was still here.If he was still here the NCAA would of threw the kitchen sink at Tn.If anybody thinks different then they need to be on the condom message boards. He cant win in the pac12 with talent so he sure wouldnt win in the SEC.

They have 1 loss...

Pete Carroll had one undefeated season at USC. You think he's a bad coach too? It also wasn't in his 2nd year.
