Would be very interesting to see/hear. Nico will forever be known as the first college football holdout.

What reaction do you think he would get and which one would you give him?
We need an undo button on CFB to take us back to 2019.

Black eye all the way around…

Heupel needs to give Merklinger the reigns and not look back. I think he’s smart enough to know the boo’s aimed at Nico will be aimed at him sooner rather than later, if not.
That’s just it. Even if the boo’s don’t come tomorrow they’ll be loud all season if he plays anything similar to last year

He’s gotta leave now. There’s really no fixing the relationship with the fanbase at this point. And as crazy as this sounds, if we were gonna take a hit the qb room is the place to see someone leave. Any qb on the roster can do screen and shovel passes. Who knows? Maybe Merk can come out and really sling it next year.

I’d say there’s an 80% chance that Nico ends up regretting this move.

I would say higher than 80%

He's leaving a system and a HC who historically have been VERY QB friendly for the great unknown

He's gonna have to go to a team that is absolutely desperate for a QB AND has a collective with $4 million to throw at him.

I would wager he has already found a school. No point in us giving him extra PR by playing him tomorrow at this point

If he goes elsewhere and succeeds then good for him I suppose. I would expect he is gonna go the JT Daniels route though-kinda bouncing from payday to payday until the clock runs out. Lord knows unless he has more to show than he did last season the NFL is not gonna come calling.
