Anyone can claim to be a Christian. So far I am seeing alot more evidence that Obama is not a Christian. I'll go with the evidence.

Science. Communism. Socialism. Anarchists.

Further, Islam is not bent on exterminating Christianity. Islam actually preaches that Muslims should live in peace with Christians, since they worship the same God.

Current Islamic Radicals wish to exterminate Western Society, particularly the US, because we are allies with The Zionists in Israel.

Non-believers is most certainly different than people of the book. Islam does not consider Christians or Hebrews to be infidels, since Muslims believe that Allah is the same God. They just feel they have the final revelation.

However, if you want to pick out certain verses about killing infidels, why don't you take a look at the Torah...

Deuteronomy and Numbers aren't exactly books that will bring people together to sing Kumbayah.

I really don't. On one hand I'd like to believe that when people congregate for the worship of the Lord they see one another as equals irregardless of any worldly issue like financial status or even visible moral behavior. But on the other hand I know people have eyes and the judge each other with contempt not showing one another the un-merited love that the Lord shows us. It really may be the ''sister Bertha betternyou's'' in the congregation that look down their nose at you for not wearing a suit to church or coming from the 'wrong' family that is the face of politics at a personal level.

With respect, what I see going on in the world around me leads me to a very different conclusion on the "real" Islam. Since the very things that these people are teaching and preaching are directly tied to their holy book I find it hard to accept any apologist's explaination.

No, but then the Bible tells us to love all people and to go to great lentghs to win their voluntary surrender to Christ, not to slaughter anyone who does not accept Him as savior. Christians have the example of Paul and Stephen who suffered for their faith instead of inflicting death and destruction on those who didn't understand.

But then again as the authority you have explained yourself to be, you already know this.

There are plenty of examples in the Koran in which great prestige is given to love, charity, justice, and mercy. There are also parts of the Koran in which Allah is a vengeful god.

Can you please tell me how that contradicts with our Bible? As far as I know, all Trinitarian Christian sects still include Numbers, Deuteronomy, and Leviticus in their Old Testaments. If I wanted to pull out a few verses from those books, I could make everyone who worships Yahweh look like a cult of blood-thirsty people.

The "Muslims" who are perpetrating this "Jihad" against the West are perverting Islam.

If the KKK and the Westboro Baptist Church can pervert Christianity, then why are you having such a hard time understanding that certain persons can also pervert Islam?

Pulling out the KKK and Westboro are poor comparisons. I have no idea how many people are in the KKK, but I am sure that there aren't that many. Westboro's 500 or so do not represent any significant idealogical portion of Christianity. If you want to compare say Catholics or Protestants to the various Muslim factions, you would at least be able to compare in terms of proportions, activities and such.

You obviously are a fan of religion, however, you do not have a grasp on Christian theology. If you would like a minister's take on it PM me and I will be glad to converse with you about it.
