If Ohio State beats Michigan

I’d prefer to get OSU or Michigan round 1 if we make the playoffs. I could see being put at #4 tho. I can also see us getting left out altogether.

Just for fun tho, let’s say we do make it AND get out at #3, who would you rather face? OSU or Michigan?
tOSU because I just can't stand their arrogance.

Also TN vs Ohio State is a Heisman showcase for Hooker and Stroud.

Like beating Alabama, beating Ohio State would be a statement.

When we win, Danny White had better meet Josh Heupel on the sidelines with a damn good cigar and very large salary increase.

Well as much as I would love to play OSU or UM, I think, unless TCU loses, we are 4th in front of the OSU/UM loser, playing the Dawgs in the first round.

The only two teams who could jump us now would be a 1 loss PAC champ USC or 2 Loss LSU SEC shamp.
USC is possible, LSU unlikely.

Yesterday was likely TCU's only chance to lose. So, I'm looking at:

#1 Georgia vs #4 Tennessee

#2 Ohio State vs #3 TCU

Heupel and company are ready, and we upset Georgia. Ohio State buries TCU.

National Championship: Ohio State vs Tennessee

That's how they get their wishes.
Beating K State a second time will be a tall order for them, and don’t count Baylor out.

People keep assuming OSU will beat Michigan. In my opinion, Michigan has been the more impressive team this year. I think they have a great chance of beating OSU.
I won’t be surprised if that rivalry goes back to normal this year, but I wouldn’t be surprised by Michigan running all over them again either. I agree U of M has looked better.

Lots of folks speculating what if LSU beats UGA?
That would be the worst possible thing for UT.
If they do beat UGA it would be in the same fashion they beat Bama.
The committee would keep both us and LSU out for a team that has been ranked 1or 2 all year and only has one 'close' win in the season and one close loss.

Back to OPs question though. I would love to meet tOSU...crap TON of fickle B1G fans in Indiana. They'll pull for IU during BBall and OSU during football...it's craziness!!!

As I've stated at least 3 times in the past 7 days, the final 4 will most likely be:

1. GA
2. Ohio St.
3. Tennessee
4. USC/TCU (Oregon is now out)

It's pretty apparent based on the 1st and 2nd CFP polls that the committee wants these top 4.
Only disaster nightmare scenario would be LSU upsetting GA and winning SEC championship game. I'm sure the committee would have a hard time not putting the SEC champ in the final 4 even with 2 losses.
UGA vs. one of those, while Tenn vs Ohio State, right where I think it will be. Perfectly done.

Its possible, but I don’t think the committee is scared for another sec national championship. Not questioning either, that they put us in the first round against Ohio State. Just tired of blow outs.

I think Ohio State is lying in wait for Michigan very much like Georgia was 2 weeks ago with us. Sleep walking through their last couple of games with a sorta close call at Penn State—which they still won handily.

Michigan/OSU really is a different animal when it comes to rivalries. Even the SEC doesn’t have anything that compares. It’s the greatest rivalry in all of sports.

1-Georgia vs 4-Tennessee
2-Ohio State vs 3-TCU

If this is the case I will love our chances if we play GA again. It's something like a 80% chance the team that lost the first matchup IE: TN wins the 2nd go around. Case and point last year when GA played AL the second time last year. To play them again at a more neutral site. Less false start's etc.. I'll take those odds. Can't wait to put GA down a notch. It's only been a year they have been top dog and I'm already sick of them. LET'S GO!!!!!! VFL GBO I WANT A REMATCH!!

They should have no problem leaving LSU out. They left out Penn State with the same exact situation.

Careful with the sarcasm re chemtrails. The Government is now admitting they are spraying Search it-----"Aerosol GeoEngineering" Even GOOGLE . They now admit it like they just started the program 2-3 years ago, yeah right. Been going on for 30 (Or more) years. Man's continuing effort to control the weather. LBJ even stated that whoever controlled the weather would rule the world (1967). Ignorance is acceptable, unwillingness to learn and adapt is not.
So you believe the Govt or not?

Ohio state can score against this defense a lot. Really need to get our crap together if we get them.

Exactly right. Not sure we have the defense to be UGA or OSU.

Would it bode better for us to go to the Sugar Bowl and pound someone, finish the season 3rd?

Would the Committee move #2 OSU to #1 with a win over #3 Michigan? I think they would.

This week Oregon moves down and PSU moves up. PSU likely wins out. Oregon faces Utah this weekend. A Utes win eliminates Oregon from P12CG and the O drops again. Then that W for Georgia against them doesn't look that great anymore.

If O wins then they're playing USC in P12CG, a game that could go either way.

However a Georgia W over LSU moves them back to #1.

OSU has a far, far superior offense to UG and their defense is rated top 5....... And they haven't even had some of their top playmakers like Jaxon Smith Njigba (who hasn't played hardly at all this season) and are saving for the Michigan game and beyond.

Nah you always take your shot. Heupel has caught lightning in a bottle this year. Georgias offense isn’t as potent as Ohio States imo but who knows they haven’t faced any real competition.
