OK St is whipping OU worse than I have ever seen. They may very well jump bammer. I would lmao. This would pretty much give the bcs game to lsu. Meaning no bammer title but sec wins again.

and unfortunately they'd need ESPN's help (the way ESPN helped LSU) most likely....Kirk's made it pretty obvious they don't want to give them that

It'd be hard too. Wasn't there a BCS rule implied once that you can't just run up the score on teams to get in the championship like we actually had to do in '98? Tell me if I'm wrong, but Bama might just be there to stay to the fustration of the Cowboys...

no there's not....but i believe that's what the quality win aspect (which was cut out with SOS when USC missed the championship in 2003) might have been about



the bigger thing with what was happening in 98 was not that "we had to run up the score" but that UT didn't know (& none of the teams did really) what was really going on in how the system or how it worked...something said by the coach about we ran the score up on UAB out of - essentially - a general uncertainty everyone had regarding how it might effect the team if they didn't do so

This win is better than any of Alabama's wins this season.

Oh well, the whole system is dumb.

Beating a team that got beat by texas tech, a team that is not even going to a bowl game. Any team that can't pull at least 6 wins and make it to a bowl, is like the bottom dwellers of a conference. lol

...yeah, i promise you if that was your main argument in an actual discussion - sports media, officials, whatever - it wouldn't carry all that much weight
