What Implications could that have on our recruiting? I could definitely see it helping with Wright. Maybe we could get back in with Uko or Riley. What say you VN?

Scroggins.... as well..... but I think the chance of Carroll leaving for a declining franchise in the Seattle Seahawks is very very unlikely. I'd say less than 10%.

Carroll did not return messages, but a league source said Carroll is interested in the job and is trying to persuade USC offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates to join him in Seattle -- as opposed to Bates pursuing the same position with the Chicago Bears.

Said another source close to Carroll: "You're about to see a big headline that shakes up the major college football world," in reference to the Seahawks' development. The Seahawks did not confirm Carroll as a leading candidate but also did not deny it.

You can't ever trust what ESPN says but they are throwing his name out there..

If Pete Caroll goes, he says he wants his Offensive Cordinator to go with him. Do you guys think Chaney could end up at USC?

I really can't see Pete Carroll leaving Southern Cal for the Seahawks, he has already proved he is much better in college than in the pros. He has everything at USC, great boosters to help with the players, money, beatiful weather, and beautiful women, he has everything he could want.

CLK, Coach O, Monte, Chaney all to USC - talk about UT and Hamilton's worst nightmare!

Won't happen cause Carrol isn't leaving anytime soon.

Part of being on a message board...if Carrol leaves and takes his OC, you can bank on the rest of the offensive staff being replaced...if this happens UT could benefit greatly with the likes of Riley, Scroggins, Prater and not mention RB coach Todd McNair.

I want to know what ESPN is going to do with Tebow gone Carroll gone and CUM gone (if he really doesn't return)... maybe they'll find some love for UT by default..

Exactly!! This sucks, but, Ive always heard CPC say that USC is the only job he wants and doesnt want to return to the NFL. I know people can change their minds but the Seahawks? Really? And Layla loves Knoxville and they named their kid, Knox, that has to mean something right? I know Im rambling but, god this sux!!!!
