If Pete Carroll to the Seahawks happens...

Lot of "what ifs" here fellas! Let it play out as the questions will only eat away at you. I firmly believe that our staff will not move anywhere just because a job opens up at USC. Hell, I doubt any of our coaches are of interest to USC at this point. We are good if true and at best, we possibly pick up some recruits we would have lost out on otherwise!

I wonder if Kiffin's brashness and some of the comments he's made would scare another school from hiring him? Who knows, that might work to Tennessee's advantage if other schools are afraid to hire him.

CLK, Coach O, Monte, Chaney all to USC - talk about UT and Hamilton's worst nightmare!

Won't happen cause Carrol isn't leaving anytime soon.
why do you all think it is not going to happen?

Carrol has reported he is interested in the job...it is most likely going to happen.

that said, USC is not going to hire Kiffin.

I never thought hed cosider leaving USC but, with the way the NCAA is crawling around that campus and what just happened with there basketball program. The Joe Mcknight investigation is still ongoing he may be trying to get out before the hammer gets dropped on em

They won't hire Kiffin and I don't think Orgeron would leave with Carroll not being there...

I think this could help us big time...

Prater, Scroggins, Riley would be real possibilities as well as a more important piece....Todd McNair.

This. USC will still pull in top recruits just b/c of location, so while it may help out with a few recruits, I think we could really make a push for McNair.

Yeah, but would CEO go to the NFL if he wanted him to coach DL there? I think he wants to coach another NCAA team so I think recruiting coord and coach at UT would be better for that chance, but money talks.

Makes you wonder if our coaches know what CPC is doing and the reason for a quick trip to San Antonio. I am sure there are several parents of USC prospects there they are talking to.

If I am not mistaking, didn't CEO leave the Saints for his current position? If so, why would he go back to the NFL for a similar role?
