No way Kentucky and Bama are permanent rivalries. One can try to stretch the "Bear Bryant coached at both places" argument but that's not gonna fly.

Why are yall so scared of competition? I want Florida, Georgia, and Alabama every year. They can kick Vandy and Kentucky out of the SEC for all I care. Those 3 are our rivals not Vandy or Kentucky.

I agree, I don’t want to see a season where the Dawgs and Vols don’t play! I just wouldn’t feel right.

Prior to divisions, they had played about 20 times total with a 50 year break between games at one point. It's not a traditional rivalry

That’s true, but it feels like a rivalry to me. I remember how badly I wanted to beat you guys as a kid in the 90’s, and I’m sure most Vols would love almost nothing more than to beat up on GA next season. It just feels like a big game to me.

I agree, but I bet most UGA fans view Florida, Auburn and South Carolina as more traditional rivals. I’m guessing the SEC will probably keep those games intact before they would UT vs UGA.
